Very disappointed to see a sign in a witch shop that is biased against "black " magic or practitioners of any kind. Old and out dated ways of thinking. A very sterile and tourist trap with its simple items and white sage all over. I had hoped tolerance would be more alive in New Hope. There was little to no energy is the place. One of the few shops around here that openly courts the occult community, certainly gets my attention. no need for euphemisms, "I'm looking for X." And as others have said it is not for the fluffy bunny crowd looking to dip a toe in the waters. It's for people knowing what they want and can go looking for it. The shop is clean the staff friendly and happy to talk to you. Then why only 4 stars? the hours. The hours posted here show how intermittent their opening are and if I'm honest it seems like even the posted hours are...suggestions. Anyone familiar with New Hope knows that many of the shops have hours that are somewhat laid back but in all honesty finding this place open seems to be only marginally less difficult than the wardrobe to Narnia. read more

I'm happy to see that this place is still around, even after the worst of the pandemic. I must agree with other reviewers that it's for serious (intermediate to advanced/natural witch) types. The magick infused into their products is POTENT, and it will bring out your natural gifts. I remember using one of their spirit animal spell kits and actually summoning the animal in question without really intending to do so. You may not believe it, but trust me when I say it's not a joke, so be aware of that when you buy a kit for a specific purpose. 'Intense' is a good word to describe the owner. But I suggest that you do not confuse introversion and intensity with unfriendliness. It's very obvious that just based off the efficacy of the products alone, this store is her life. This is a cute little new age shop. It's very small, but you will find candles, oils, smudging sticks, jewelry, and a small assortment of jewelry. I bought a pentacle that was promptly cleaned, and I was offered to have my chain cleaned as well. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town. read more

This shop is not for tourists or even for people who are wanting to learn about witchcraft. This is a shop for people who know what they are doing and need supplies. While I agree with a previous reviewer that the decoration leaves a lot to be desired, I do like that the packaging is very no-frills. The product you need and the instructions for said product. If you're a witch who just needs supplies for your magick, it might be a nice place to check out! read more

went here for fun. Found a beautiful bracelet. Blue Goldstone Fire Opal. The thing broke in 1 week! They put it on string! $32 for a string bracelet. Well I went to Bead Works in Philly off South Street. For only $6 I was able to restring it on wire, like it should have been done in the first place. The design was great but string? Really? I wanted to go back in and tell the workers off. This place has a nice idea to it, but really could have been decorated better. Especially being its location surely provides competition. I have NOT had the same negative experiences that others on here seem to have had. I've shopped in person as well as an online shopper. I have always received absolute 'top-notch' service and quality products. The times I shopped in person, I always received excellent personal attention and advice was gladly given. And dealing w/ this store as an online shopper, I get immediate attention and pleasant replies to my emails/questions. They have excellent pricing and always ship items with care. I greatly appreciate the time and attention that I receive, regardless if it is in person, or an online order. They not only supply customers w/ quality products, excellent service, but I received special [FREE] items that they gladly shipped w/ every order. Too many reviewers seem to focus on their own negativity and post negative reviews and then never give it a second thought. Perhaps it was their OWN negativity they were confronted with, not that of the shop, nor that of the personnel. As a former business owner myself, I prided myself on providing the highest extent of customer satisfaction, no matter what the service was.
