Um.....as much as you can like something called "boot camp" without wearing a combat uniform or being totally out of your mind. But as we say in French, "Il faut souffrir pour être belle". In other words: no pain, no gain. That's how it rolls ladies. First things first: they moved, and are not longer located on Western but a little East of there on Milwaukee (1643 N. Milwaukee to be precise). Parking is not too difficult but if you go to the evening sessions, you will most likely have to pay (I always try to find a free spot a few blocks away, mainly because I always forget my wallet. Oy.) I worked with Nari and Ferah, and both provide a good workout with very different styles. Some of the exercises can be quite challenging but overall things don't get too much out of hand and if you are motivated and willing to try - you should get a proper sweat out of it without throwing up your breakfast. In a nutshell: - classes are held three days a week - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6 am and 6 pm. - there are no changing/locker rooms as of yet - class sizes very greatly. One Friday night I was there with three other girls but last Monday night I left because the studio was so full that the instructor didn't know where to place students. That can be a problem, and I hope that they will figure things out real soon. - water is available - I bought a coupon but they offer unlimited boot camp classes for $59/month.

This is a "Kick Your Lazy butt into shape & fast" Gym (and thank God for that)! The truth about fitness is that you have to want & work for it. If you do, this is the place for you. The trainers are second to none... and will make you WORK! That being said, I absolutely LOVE working with my trainer, Mike (the owner). He has so much experience in the personal fitness field it's dizzying, pushes you to your personal limit, and overall has gotten me into the best shape of my life in less than 3 months. The icing on the cake is the complete nutritional plan he has laid out for me...(*sidenote - I am actually not supposed to have any cake, or icing for that matter). Overall, I have committed to not only a change in my physical appearance but have committed to a change in lifestyle with the help of Mike & 1 on 1 Fitness. 5 Stars for sure!

Everyone's guilty of stasis in some aspect of their lives--getting used to how things are and putting up with less than the ideal. For a long time, I assumed that I'd never be able to truly lose the weight I'd gained, lost, and regained over the years. Worse yet, I assumed that getting older had to be accompanied by slowing down, having less energy, and dealing with aching joints and constant soreness. Don't let your life continue at less than its full capacity! At 43, I'm in the best shape I've ever been and continue to improve because of the nutritional counseling, group fitness classes, and personal training sessions offered at this studio. They've taught me the habits, mindsets, and skills to feel, look, and function at my best, for life. The staff treat one another and their clients like family, which--fair warning--means you will be held accountable to the goals that you've set for yourself because they care about you and want the best for you. "Care" can be expressed a lot of different ways, too--don't assume that you won't work well with a personal trainer because you've had a bad experience elsewhere. Whether you want a trainer with drive, calm, kindness, humor... however you'd characterize it, there is someone at Push with the personality and approach that's suited to you. The only people who shouldn't join Push Fitness are the ones who are satisfied on the slow track to fitness which, let's be honest, is a roller coaster at best and, more often, a slow retreat from the results you really want. I've been there--after losing significant amounts of weight four times over the last 16 years and regaining it every time (and then some), I've lost more than 40 pounds since joining Push just three months ago--almost 20% of my total body weight--while gaining muscle mass. This weight loss is different this time because I have the benefits of the Push team's expertise on my side. When you're ready to put in the work it takes to regain and optimize your health, and if you recognize that expert guidance will multiply the outcomes from the time it takes to do the work, join Push. No other investment is ever going to yield better returns than those you put into to your well-being, and their prices are quite reasonable considering the results you'll see in a very short time frame.

I will start by saying I have met Mike and I do think he is a good guy. He is out for others well being and wants to help however the end goal of the gym is to make money. The story; my cousin and I bought a groupon for 3 personal training classes. We met with a guy named Andrew H.; one of Mike's trainers. Andrew worked us out good and at the end of the third session Andrew and Mike both asked my cousin if we want to continue and we said no because the gym is not what we wanted. Mike let it go but Andrew then reached out to us and said he would train us at our homes, use our gyms; he gave us a killer deal and we started working out with him. The story gets good when Andrew gets a check from my cousin and cashes it in but then signs her up for a travel company called World Ventures/ VacationSooner.com and he starts taking endless amounts of money out of her accounts. He basically took the checking information and played with all her accounts. She was able to close one account out but then realized she got hit with the same charges on another account. The banks and credit teams gave her Andrew's name and said he is the one taking all the money out of her accounts and he now has the fraud and police after him. Long story short, you will get a killer workout here, there is no question there but pay with cash; you never know who will take your money from the gym. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with banks and crazy people that don't know how to respect their employer or their clients. Needless to say - we fired Andrew two weeks in because he had more excuses then we could take. Bottom line just be careful; pay with a cash and learn from us do not sign up for personal training classes; you will get cheated!
