Emailed and called and it took a few days before i was able to set a tour of the gym up . I have never been treated with such un interest in my life . I walk up to the counter and introduce my self. He may or may not have told me his name.not to sure if he did . I was expecting him to show me around the place , but he made no effort to come from around the counter . Since he wasn't saying anything, I released what I had seen on the website . I had remember from my previous call that said there was 50 few to join, but he said there was . He said no more after that so I asked if he was the co owner . He said he was the trainer . And a few sentences about what he trained . I turned my head to kind of look at the gym . There were 4 people training. As I was looking he said I could go look around if I wanted to!!!! Hw said there was a down stairs that had some other things .if you go down there the light will turn on . He definitely wasn't going to show me around and made NO EFFORT TO do so. I said , no I can see one side of it I really wanted a gym to go to since it was. Closer to work . I said can you show me the contacts for the different levels and he said. , well they are on the iPad and I I would have to go get it . He made no effort to move until I said ok I would like to see it. He put the iPad in from of me and said" you can read the different ones. Total disinterest . He wasn't rude, just didn't care if I signed up or not . Do yourself a favor and BY PASS THIS Gym. Do not join !!!!!!! P.S. gym looks nothing like those pics.

Specializing in powerlifting and strongman, however is extremely equipped to help those struggling with almost any injury. I attended my first class at Sweat Like A Girl about two years ago. I was still pretty new to…read moreexercise with a ton of weight to lose, and very little idea where to get started. I quickly became tired of the elliptical, tired of the treadmill, and the only thing I knew for sure was that if my workouts continued to feel like chores, I'd never stick with them. I tried the Fight Club class after checking out classes at a few other gyms, and I was instantly hooked. It was first time I realized I could have a good time working out. It took me a while to try out some of the other classes, but now, SuperGirl is my favorite. It's always something different, but consistently keeps me working hard. But the really surprising thing was, it didn't take me long to feel comfortable there. Heather, the owner of the gym who also happens to be the main instructor for many classes, is equally a motivator, an entertainer, and a hardcore fitness instructor. I start out each class feeling scared for the intensity i know is about to be inflicted upon my body, and psyched, in the same was anybody is before they are about to do something they know is going to be completely fun and rewarding. Any class with Heather usually includes a stand-up routine at no extra charge. And not surprisingly, smiling and laughing a lot while you're sweating like crazy, definitely takes the pressure off. Actually, all the instructors are pretty cool, care about your success, and will give you a great workout. I've met a lot of people at this gym, and the pervasive attitude is one of support, non-judgement, and willingness to help each other out. The whole environment is pretty cool, and rare. There's something for everybody, whether your idea of fitness involves flipping tires, interval training, running, dancing, pole, or kicking and punching. And the price is definitely right.

We were taught an array of moves on the pole and then moved onto a full chair dance routine. The women in our party ranged in age from their early 20's to late 50's -- and everyone had a blast! I can't say enough good things about our experience. As for the regular classes, I took a class here about a year ago and really enjoyed myself. Unfortunately, I don't live in the area or else Sweat Like A Girl would be my full-time workout studio.

The instructors are well trained and serious about giving you a good work out while making sure that your form is spot on. So there is no cheating :) But they also make it fun! The group classes are so small (like 6 people) so you still get focused attention and they are an excellent value. If the only experience you have with Pilates is one of those large chain "pilates mills' that bang through classes with little attention to you individually, this place will totally open your eyes to what a quality workout Pilates is for your mind and body.
