If you want to be treated like dirt. Then this gym is for you !…read more I'm new to Bethlehem and was looking for a good 24 hour gym. Did some researching and came across IronStone Barbell. Emailed and called and it took a few days before i was able to set a tour of the gym up . I have never been treated with such un interest in my life . I walk up to the counter and introduce my self. He may or may not have told me his name.not to sure if he did . I was expecting him to show me around the place , but he made no effort to come from around the counter . Since he wasn't saying anything, I released what I had seen on the website . I had remember from my previous call that said there was 50 few to join, but he said there was . He said no more after that so I asked if he was the co owner . He said he was the trainer . And a few sentences about what he trained . I turned my head to kind of look at the gym . There were 4 people training. As I was looking he said I could go look around if I wanted to!!!! Hw said there was a down stairs that had some other things .if you go down there the light will turn on . He definitely wasn't going to show me around and made NO EFFORT TO do so. I said , no I can see one side of it I really wanted a gym to go to since it was. Closer to work . I said can you show me the contacts for the different levels and he said. , well they are on the iPad and I I would have to go get it . He made no effort to move until I said ok I would like to see it. He put the iPad in from of me and said" you can read the different ones. Total disinterest . He wasn't rude, just didn't care if I signed up or not . Do yourself a favor and BY PASS THIS Gym. Do not join !!!!!!! P.S. gym looks nothing like those pics.

Being in the Lehigh Valley it has a lot of gym competition and still comes out on top in every category. Specializing in powerlifting and strongman, however is extremely equipped to help those struggling with almost any injury. Amazing gym for those at an elite level, those just starting and those coming back from a set back. On top of that the community Ironstone has cultivated is nothing short of the best.

Maxx Fitness Clubzz - Saucon Valley - They don't even repair the floors. They just put fucking construction cones over top of them and they charge $50 a month.

I think this is one of the best gyms in the area for the price. First, it's huge and I've never had…read moreany issues with it being so overcrowded that there's a wait for equipment. All of the treadmills and ellipticals have their own TV, which is pretty neat. The gym even has a smoothie bar and the smoothies are so. freaking. good. Perfect if you need a quick dinner, breakfast or post-workout snack. My favorite thing about this gym is the classes. Included in my $20/month membership is unlimited classes like yoga, tabata, zumba, cycling and more. The classes themselves are great quality and the instructors are all helpful. They usually switch up the routines from week to week too, so they don't get boring. The classes are held at pretty convenient times, as early as 5:15AM and as late as 7:30PM. One small complaint is that I have such hard time hearing what they instructors are saying! The rooms are large and echo a lot, so it's often hard to hear over the music. Overall, this is an awesome gym and I'm glad I signed up :)

I would not recommend that you get a membership here. The first time, they did not have record of my canceling my account and was accruing money (over $1,000). I finally gave in and participated in one of their offers to pay a few hundred dollars to have my account cleared completely. I did that several years ago. They assured me that my account was canceled. Today I received an email that I am going to be sent to collections, pursued aggressively, and my credit score will be impacted. The phone number for the club has not been working all day. Basically, if you start a membership, plan on keeping it (and paying it) forever.

I came to my hometown for an extended stay around Thanksgiving and needed to find somewhere to…read moreworkout. The yelp reviews of the Yoga Loft led me to purchase a 5 class package. I enjoyed the ease with which I could go online and reserve my spot in class and pay right there so when I showed up I didn't have to worry about having cards/cash or there not being room, etc. I will briefly talk decor before I go into my experience with the classes. I have done yoga at places all over the US. Where I go now in Chicago is a chain and is more like a gym. It is a new space, has big bathrooms with showers, etc. Yoga Loft is more what I have experienced at local yoga studios. The space is a bit older (downtown Bethlehem on top of a hardware store), but it is homey as opposed to gym like. The reception area has old couches to sit on, the floors are all older wood. The ceiling is popcorn panels which isn't great, but oh well. There are lots of windows to let in natural light. I arrived for my first class and was greeted by the receptionist and given a quick explanation of where things were and how the studio worked. I have taken 3 classes so far and enjoyed them all. I am used to yoga that is flow and designed more for a workout rather than the spiritual or mental health side of the practice which is where the Yoga Loft leans a bit more but I also got a great workout. I started with Level 1 as I didn't know how my yoga experience where I go in Chicago would translate. It was more basic poses and broken down to a slower pace, but we stayed in the poses for a bit longer which made it more of a workout. The classes are also all over an hour which adds to the endurance needed while I am used to 40 - 60 minute classes that are more intense. The second class was a Level 2 class that offered more advanced poses that I am used to. Like the Level 1, poses were held for a bit longer which added to the difficultly. Doing Level 1 then Level 2 on back to back days definitely left my legs and triceps sore, in a good way. The third class was actually on Thanksgiving and as it was open to all, it was more like a Level 1 class, but alternatives were offered to makes poses more advanced as the room's skill level varied greatly (there were around 50 people there!). I really enjoyed this class, especially the partner poses which were new to me. I can't wait to use my last 2 classes in the package and will definitely be returning when I am in the area.
