Price point was good ($58) as was promptness (important for an airport lift). This was considerably less than the $209 I paid when arriving at ABQ at 10pm. For that I hired a car since it was so late. It's a bit confusing how late the Groome shuttles run - the times on the vm recording differ from the times posted on the website. Anyway, a good service, although the shuttle was packed. 14 passengers and a driver. I ended up having an interesting convo with another passenger, but still wish the shuttle was less packed.

On this last shuttle trip from ABQ to Santa Fe, the Southwest flight was late, and the driver called my husband and waited. So appreciative! I am bummed a few people had bad experiences, and yes, it sucks that there is no monetary refund, but we deal with that on airlines, too (if we don't pay an exorbitant amount for a refundable ticket). So word to the wise, book a shuttle close to your travel date and not too far advance. Bring cash for your driver for a tip, because it will be deserved!

We had the opportunity to visit once again during the Balloon Fiesta and were staying in Albuquerque. A day trip to Santa Fe sounded like the perfect idea so we hopped online and purchased our tickets. The process was fairly simple and extremely inexpensive (our toddler was even free)! The stations that we visited were clean and well maintained. Staff were helpful and polite on the train. We found the interior of the train to be clean and comfortable. Our ride was beautiful. We had the opportunity to see great views of the mountains and some of agricultural land through New Mexico. If you are visiting Albuquerque or Santa Fe, I strongly encourage a trip on the Rail Runner. It's definitely a great economical option for travel!
