My company called today and informed me my urine drug screen was not packaged properly, needed to be redone. They are finding me another location. I would highly recommend checking in online versus going there to check in. The receptionist was friendly. I was called to the back about 10 minutes after my scheduled time. The RN who took my vitals was really sweet and nice. I waited over an hour for the Nurse Practitioner to come into the room. Having major back pains, every minute counted. The NP listened to my concerns and was able to provide some relief. Overall, I had a good experience - despite the waiting. But it's common to wait hours at Urgent Care.

So let me get this straight: I'm sick, you tell me to check in, then refuse to let me wait in my car because "patients need to wait inside"? Why? So we can all sit shoulder-to-shoulder, coughing on each other, while you run an hour behind schedule? If every patient is on time and you're just piling us up in a waiting room, you're not running a clinic--you're running a hostage situation. If you're this behind, don't text patients to come in and then not allow us to leave if we want to hold our appointment time??

The visit lasted a total of 30 minutes with less than 10 minutes of time spent with the actual provider. They prescribed me some cream and steroid pills. A couple weeks later I received my bill which was over $400! This was with the practice being covered by insurance and my insurance company covering a portion of the charge. Not only that, but the provider listed was an MD who practices in Atlanta. The codes they used for the visit were also not appropriate for the visit duration and type. I tried to contact them and get the codes changed for the visit, but they kept making excuses for how they could use the codes that they did. I decided it ultimately wasn't worth the hassle, but I will certainly NOT be back!

The staff is very kind and helpful, and the prices are reasonable and much cheaper than some of the other walk-in clinics in the area. Even without insurance, I've found it affordable and less expensive than private physicians charging $200 per visit. Though busy on occasion, the doctor never rushes through your visit and is thorough in her examination. The waiting area, exam rooms, and bathroom are always clean too.
