Established in 1969 on the site of the former Bicycle Club, Giovanni's Bicycle Club features irresistible flavors of Italian cuisine from family recipes using the finest ingredients. The reservation was easily made via OpenTable but was not necessary on a Sunday. Upon entering this two-story building, my partner and I were greeted by the host, and a few patrons were enjoying their meal on two enclosed outside patio decks with fans in the summer, so we joined them. The windows could be raised for that inclement weather, and heaters turned on when needed. They do have a main dining room, with the front bar much fancier. A few small bicycle artifacts make the place memorable and unique. We decided on the Philly Cheesesteak and Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad. Complimentary bread with dipping oil started our meal. The food was tasty with a healthy portion. The price was a bit pricey. The service was friendly; our server was Buket. We could recommend this place.

Food: I ordered some strawberry pancakes with some sweet mascarpone cheese because it reminded me of a meal I had in Chicago. The flavor blew my mind, I didn't even need any syrup. The waitress also gave me some garlic knots as a "free bread" and it might be some of the best I have ever had. Aesthetic; really nice looking place inside with a comfortable dance floor near the bar. Bar is nice, well stocked. Service: I can't begin to say how sweet Alexa was the entire time. Super helpful, kind, and chatted with me a little bit about the place. She is a great waitress and they are lucky to have her.

The gamjatang is so good here I think it's probably the best I've ever had in the states. You really can't go wrong with any of the dishes here. The flavor, the quality, the service, the taste is all 5/5 hands down. I come here every time I go through NJ!

I love the Korean grandma that is there, her energy is great, she is so friendly and kind. Nom Nom Nom. It helps if you are Korean or if you go with someone who can speak and/or read it. The clientele is predominantly Korean and the restaurant itself is so freaking tiny. I am giving it 5 stars on a dish that wasn't even their most popular, their go to dish is a chicken stew. So if I was so blown away by their second best dish, I am very curious to find out how their best dish is. The menu is written all in Korean but there are pictures. Their banchan is pretty basic since they only give you two items. The Kimchi has really good flavor but it has a pretty aggressive kick like how it is in Korea. The radish kimchi is very aggressive, I enjoyed the flavor but it was kung pow in my mouth. The food: Gamjatang- It is a very popular Korean dish and is basically a pork spine soup. The pork was insanely good, it basically melted in my mouth. The kimchi in the stew was excellent, the potato was not over cooked and the broth was exploding with flavor. It was spicy but it was a good kinda of burn. The order comes on a table side burner and is served in a huge pot. It was $30 for the dish but it was easily enough for four maybe five people. I think they might serve this as an individual dish as well, I am not sure. This is easily the best Gamjatang I ever had. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=4_oYgQgODHqgpfIPmotVjA Sooyuk- I got this on my most recent visit, oh damn, this was cooked perfectly. It comes over kimchi scallion greens and it was amazing. I added some ssamjang and it was the perfect bite. I really enjoyed this a lot. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=xfbOgFVgmXSaVREsWlcN_w Jokbal- I thought this was cooked perfectly. The meat super tender and the fat was nice and jiggly but I did find the jokbal in need of some flavoring. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=V2lHXJd7QchU1nlLrAhvcw

Make sure to check your receipt after checkout…read more I've been shopping at H-Mart Linwood Plaza for a while, and honestly, it feels like I'm getting scammed every time. Out of every 10 visits, at least 7 times I've been overcharged because the cashier doesn't scan items correctly or prices don't match the label. Today, I bought napa cabbage--exactly the same type--and one was charged $9 while another was $4. When I asked for a refund, they only subtracted $1.60 instead of the full difference. This is ridiculous and unacceptable for a store of this size. I love H-Mart products, but I can't trust that I'm being charged correctly. They need to fix their pricing system and train staff properly. Until then, I'll be extremely careful and double-check every item at checkout.
