Misled or misinformed about Aspen ultrasound money going towards surgery if it doesn't work. It didn't work since it came back a week later, it was probably doing better because of the constant compression anyhow. Capsular contracture returned quickly after the compression and all treatments were completed. Capsule clearly wasn't resolved, if it's returned back to grade 3 in less than 2 weeks. Money won't go towards surgery and now I'm out 3k. Staff was nice but I could have saved the 3k, stayed home and be in the same spot. read more

UPDATE 8/30/2019: While I adored the staff and Dr. C's bedside manner, he put my belly button in the wrong place. I had, prior to surgery, expressed my concern about belly button appearance due to my friend's weird belly button appearance after her tummy tuck. I showed him and talked to him about it. He said he put it where it goes, about hip level. It is at least 2 inches shy of hip level! It's even with my RIB CAGE! I told a woman in his office, about my dissatisfaction, sent her pictures and she agreed with me with an "OMG! Did you tell him?". I asked for her to inquire whether he'd re-position it and "he doesn't do re-positioning of the belly button. He didn't move it." You know that trick where you close your eyes and touch your nose? It works with the belly button too. Well fab. So much for enjoying my summer in a bikini. 2 of my friends reactions were shock when I lifted my shirt to show them my fabulous new flat stomach - "look where your belly button is!" Awesome. I'm contemplating MORE surgery. After all, one of my goals was to sport a bikini again. read more

After hearing many positive reviews from friends and family, I decided to look into Dr. Cappuccino's practice. After having two children via C-section, I was tired of spending countless hours at the gym with no changes to my outward appearance. Scheduling a consult was easy and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They answered any questions I had initially, including sending reminders. The office itself was very neat and organized. Again, the staff were very professional and caring. Now to the good part, Dr. Cappuccino was extremely educated in his expertise, answering any and all questions that I had. He provided examples of what to expect and also what I could encounter with getting a mini tummy tuck and liposuction. I felt very comfortable and educated throughout all of our encounters. He was always available when I needed him. On one occasion, I had to call him after hours, he called back within minutes to reassure me everything was fine....which it was. It has been almost a year since my procedure and he continues to be available with any questions or comments I may think of. Which was why I was very surprised to see he had any poor reviews. Anyone that is expecting to get any type of invasive, cosmetic procedure should always consult an expert instead of referring to the internet. I never felt Dr. Cappuccino was incompetent at any point. I am a critical care nurse and do have a medical background as well. Every procedure could affect someone differently. This place is amazing! Staff was friendly and so professional. Shelly was awesome, she performed my cool sculpting. The cool sculpting was painless and I am so excited to see my results. Shelly was very accommodating and making sure I was ok. She listened to my concerns and needs and let me know step by step what was happening and what it would feel like. Although I didn't meet Dr. Cappuccino, Shelly P. Did my cool sculpting treatment. She was AMAZING! I can not say enough good things about her! She really cared for my treatment and outcome. She was there every step of the way! She has checked on me every couple of days via email. I can't wait to come back for my next treatment. The only thing I wish I knew was that some people have more sensitive side effects. I didn't think it was going to be as painful as it was. However, Shelly really took care of me! I saw Angel on Monday, she was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of information, I wanted Botox for eye wrinkles and lines next to my nose, I have never done this before and asked her to advise me to get best results, she said she wouldn't do that, after telling her what I wanted I think she should have advised me. The Botox above my brows I can see a little difference but my deeper lines next to my nose I can't see a difference. She did filler. I wish she had advised me so I would be happy with results, I was willing to pay more. I'm also hoping the crows feet get better too, she said it might take a week. Went to see Dr Cappuccino for a small tattoo removal consult based on an ad stating he utilizes a unique cutting edge therapy that only he offered in this market. I've had a few laser treatments that have been slow results and is quite expensive. Dr Cappuccino claims he can remove most tattoos in 2-3 treatments at far less the cost and time it takes lasers, so of course I was intrigued and thought it was worth the consult. After a brief consult he claimed just that, the tattoo would be removed in 2-3 treatment sessions that would span about 6 weeks in between each session. What I wasn't aware of was he doesn't actually do the treatment himself, but punts it off onto his wife, and he has very little to no experience with this procedure. Somewhat skeptical I decided to still move forward as I was eager to have the tattoo removed. It's a fairly simple process, a bit of Novocain for pain and a series of injections into the tattoo that has a reverse effect where the skin would scab over and the ink would fall off with the scab...not the case at all. I was told the healing process would take 10-14 days, however I had non-healing scabs for upwards of 6-8 weeks. The end result was in fact not the removal of the tattoo but a very bad reaction where the pigment of my skin turned a very dark and had unattractive circles where the chemical was injected. I canceled my follow up appointment due to the poor outcome and my dissatisfaction of its appearance. Even after a picture was sent Dr Cappuccino he still claimed this reaction was "normal". However when you go online to see what the healing process looks like with this option it is very different. After 4 months of having no change in the very ugly appearance (prior to that it was just a faded tattoo), I decided to set up an appointment with him to gain some clarity. Upon arrival Dr Cappuccino greeted me with his wife and claimed the removal was in fact normal and the healing process could take upwards of a year plus. No where online in my research did I read this, and it was not communicated to be from the beginning what to expect. He did claim however that his wife's treatment may have gone "a little to deep in certain areas" where the deep and dark blotching occurred. Being the skeptic I am I started asking questions when Dr Cappuccino insisted I have another treatment that day. To my dismay I discovered he had only treated a few patients with this option, and he really wasn't clear of the outcomes nor what to expect with the healing process and appeared unsure of himself (as his wife). My feeling was he had no clue what he was doing for tattoo removal and it showed when after about 5 minutes of questioning him he reverted his clinical opinion stating I may want to consult a second opinion and possibly continue with the laser option (of which he does not offer). In summary, I would highly NOT recommend Dr Cappuccino for his tattoo treatment option due to the very poor results. I am extremely disappointed in his level of lack professionalism and communication, his clinical expertise and would expect someone with his level of education to have a better grasp on his therapeutic practice. Not to mention having his wife perform the procedure, who clearly has no idea what she's doing either or what to expect as well. I rarely submit reviews, but I am so frustrated with this result that it should be known how poorly this treatment algorithm is and that they did nothing to try and resolve and fix my issue. It leads me to believe they don't have a grasp on some of their other treatment options and would be skeptical of having any procedure performed from his practice. I have thought about surgery for many years so had MANY question, which he answered. I was put at ease. I left Dr. Cappuccino's office with my questions answered. We had several consultations prior to the surgery which allowed me to understand how the procedure would be executed, who would be involved, and how long it would take from surgery to recovery.
