These guys are an absolute JOKE…read more In 2022, we paid them over $10K to replace a roof on our double. A few months later, water was leaking into one of the bedrooms whenever it rained. It took several phone calls to get anyone out to look at it. Finally, Matt LeFaux came out and insisted that it couldn't be a roof issue, but that it had to be an HVAC issue. I called two HVAC companies, who said our HVAC was fine - but that the roof had a couple of concave areas. This, they said, was definitely the reason for the water leaking into the bedroom when it rained. When I called Matt and tried to tell him this, he continually interrupted me to tell me that the roof was "fine." Then he hung up on me and refused to answer any more of my calls. My husband called the owner of the company. They sent a crew out who determined that the roof WAS the reason for water coming into the downstairs bedroom when it rained. Apparently, there was some damage they had failed to address before putting on the underlay and the shingles. So they did the repairs but tried to charge us for removing the shingles and then replacing them in the damaged area. We refused to pay, since this should have all been done BEFORE they repaired any damage. But we did pay for the extra work that had to be done to address the original issue. Fast forward 3 years. We received a citation from the Historic Society for our roof. Apparently, Matt did not close out the permit he filed before the roof was done. That was because the permit was denied. All roofs in the Historic District are required to have ridge tiles on the roofs. If they're removed, they must be replaced. Matt didn't state on the permit request that Premiere South would do this - and that's why the permit was denied. Yet Matt went ahead with the roof replacement, anyway. We just got an estimate to replace these ridge tiles. It'll cost an additional $2820. I'm not sure if these ridge tiles are something that can be replaced after they're removed. But I have a feeling they can be. I also suspect that SOMEONE saw the opportunity to make a few bucks on the side by illegally removing these tiles and selling them, leaving US to be stuck with the cost of replacing them. I called the company and spoke with someone else. This other person insisted that our contract didn't say they'd file for the permit. I told him it DID, as I had a copy of the permit on my phone and was looking at it as we spoke. Yet he still denied it. Do not, I repeat, do NOT do business with this company!

Great company - great job on my roof! Keep you informed thru the entire job! Great clean up!…read more Roof looks great
