I reached out to Yan after noticing ice dams forming in my gutters. My existing gutters were old,…read morecracked, and well past their prime, so it was time for a replacement. I found Yan through Yelp--and the positive reviews were spot on. Yan is extremely professional and clearly experienced. He has a background working with larger gutter companies, and it shows--he knows exactly what he's doing. Yan and his team installed the new gutters on the coldest day of the season, yet they still worked quickly and efficiently. From the very first interaction, communication with Yan was seamless. He came out promptly, provided a clear estimate, used high-quality materials, and made excellent recommendations on gutter pitch and downspout placement. His work is also backed by a warranty, which gives great peace of mind. His pricing was very competitive compared to larger national companies--and the quality is just as good, if not better. If you're looking for new gutters, Yan is your guy. Thank you, Yan! I

This doesn't sound like a big deal but the downspouts were not wide enough and as a result an influx of water had not been draining properly and so every time it rained our basement would flood at the back of our house. This has been a persistent problem and after consulting five or so plumbers we realized that the issue was the gutters so Jordan quickly diagnosed it and fixed it right away!

The owner responded to my request for a quote immediately, came out to my house, and by the…read morefollowing week, I had new 5 inch gutters to match my house with larger 3x4 downspouts and Gutter Glove gutter guards at the lowest of the quotes I had been given over the past month. He was responsive to my concerns re my previous gutters (mismatched colors, undersized downspouts, clogging, leaking, and continual upkeep). The owner saw that I needed a solution to an area where there was only one downspout for two levels of my roof, and added another downspout (one for upper; one for lower) and routed one downspout in another direction, per my request not to flood out my lower lying neighbor as previous). He was responsive to helping me attach loose pieces of vinyl on my siding and he had his crew even caulking and painting some trim for no extra charge to make sure my house is waterproof. When they came out to install everything, there were 8 men in the crew and the owner, and they were in and out, in 3 hours, with zero mess left behind. They even took a magnetic roller over my yard to make sure no loose nails were left. His crew made sure everything I wanted had been completed before leaving. They even did extras that I had never seen before like adding aluminium guards in particular areas like around the chimney to make sure the water is directed off the house. All in all, I'm very impressed! They definitely go above and beyond and there was no bill, until every last thing was done, and the owner returned and reinspected the job. When I gave the owner the payment, he went over each part of the gutter system to explain how it works and put in writing a workmanship guarantee of one year, and 20 years for parts. He told me to call if I wanted anything changed, since I had made a change to his original plan in one area. He was very flexible about telling me, if I wanted it to his original specs, just call and they'd change it. I'm excited about how beautiful my new functional gutters look on my home!! I'm continually admiring how pretty my house looks now. I can't wait until it rains!!

He clearly outlined our options and provided us a free estimate "on-the-spot," including rates for any additional work that may arise, unforseen. He provided us a shingle sample and folder full of product, warranty, and licensing information. After collecting multiple quotes, we chose Jarvis Exteriors for our new roofs based on the quality materials, reasonable pricing, and John! We were not disappointed! First, the work was scheduled to be started less than 10 days after we signed the paper and provided a deposit. Then, a day before, a very polite young man from Jarvis came to the house to post the building permit in the front window. Later that day the materials were delivered. On work day, John and the crew were prompt and prepared. They discussed all that would be done. The crew took great care protecting our lawn and gardens. They were respectful, hard-working, careful, thorough, and cleaned up completely. The new roof on the garage and front of the house was done in ONE DAY. And it's beautiful! Even after a complete tear-off and re-roofing, ALL my tulips stood tall and had all their petals! For some additional anticipated work, John presented the need for it, confirmed the cost was the same as originally quoted, and waited for our approval before having the team proceed. We agreed. The final bill was EXACTLY what was quoted and what we expected. We couldn't be more thrilled with the entire experience with Jarvis Exteriors, John, Ilkow, and the rest of the crew!
