It only took them two days to sand and stain, and they matched our other hardwoods perfectly! We were so happy with the work they did! Cornerstone was the second Drywall company we contacted and their quote came in under the first bid, even though it included additional services such as painting the ceiling and didn't require any additional prep work on our part. The work was tedious as it required using drywall of different thickness and double layers in some areas to accommodate new cabinets and tie into existing plaster walls and ceilings. To eliminate the issue of matching ceiling texture, Mike proposed skim coating the ceilings of linked rooms so that the ceiling texture was uniform. The drywall/painting team that began work on our project had a couple issues that marred the result of their hard work. The team seemed focused on speed of work instead of quality, with the result of some details being missed. Examples would be ceiling LED placement, wrong drywall thickness in a key area, and dings in the ceiling. These issues were identified by Mike during inspection and he immediately took over the project himself. Mike corrected each issue, replacing existing drywall where necessary and making multiple visits to ensure the work was done properly. Thanks Mike.

I'm way too used to contractors not being meticulous about details, but every last part of my siding and trim now look amazing. Additionally, they could have easily come in and told me I needed all the siding replaced (as other companies did), but rather they ensured that they only replaced what was needed and fixed what could be to avoid higher costs to me. The first project I needed done was some siding repair and a rebuild of a little gate out front, as well as repair of some rotted wood on my front steps. I obtained quotes from 5 different companies (well, tried to - two of the companies came, wrote down my information, and never sent an email or called). Jason responded with a very reasonable, professional, written quote within 48 hours (might have even been 24, it was a while ago, I can't remember now). He responded to every text message I sent immediately, showed up at EXACTLY the time he said he would, and the work was performed quickly and perfectly. Obviously I called him again for the next thing I needed done (overhead racks in the garage). Again, responded to every message and phone call, showed up when he said he would, did the work quickly and perfectly. Oh, and they are all super professional and nice and trustworthy and I literally took a nap in my room while they were working in the house, so there's that too. Not to sound overly effusive, but I am on project six with Fishers Remodeling and they have literally been flawless. Like, every other contractor is pretty much ruined for me. The one tragic part of this is now they are going to get super popular and start remodeling three million dollar mansions and I will never get them to assemble a Murphy bed for me again and then I'll have to start all over. But that's a problem for Future Me. Right Now Me is just enjoying the fact that YES I HAVE FOUND THE PERFECT CONTRACTOR. We called them due to an emergency; we had water over flow upstairs dripping down through the downstairs ceiling and within a few hours of being called they immediately began to set up equipment and dry out my home before any real damage like molds or rotting drywall could occur. Once it was all dry, they came back and did the proper repairs to the all the damaged drywall's and installed the new flooring upstairs and it looks absolutely amazing! Blade personally met with adjuster and showed him where the leaks were Adjuster was reluctant, but Blade never gave up. Eventually, insurance company did accept claim. Blade was always cheerful and willing to answer any questions I had. The crew (about 8-10 guys) came out at 7:30 on a cold morning and went to work--removed the old roof, (0n my 4 bedroom house) installed a new improved roof and completed the job by 4:30. The crew worked diligently all day--To a quick brown bag lunch (only about 20 minutes long and scurried back to work. They were polite, pleasant and diligent.
