I had a leak in the roof near my chimney flashing, and the job required more expertise than my handyman felt he had. I had a few larger roofing companies come out to give estimates, and all were either unwilling to do smaller jobs or had prices that seemed far too high for a relatively minor leak repair that was almost certainly caused by sealant failure. Elk came out within a couple days of my initial call (this was a minor leak and did not require immediate repair) and performed a thorough inspection of my roof. They agreed with my assessment that the leak was relatively minor and due to sealant failure, although they noted that some of the decking surrounding the leak would need replacement. They provided a very reasonable estimate, which included the full cost of materials. I hired Elk for the job and all work was completed within the week. Elk removed the shingles from the surrounding area and replaced the damaged decking with new plywood. They even took the time to match my shingles perfectly, ensuring that the repair would not be visible, and did a superior job flashing the chimney. It has been more than six months since the repair and I have had no further issues. After the job was complete, Elk took the time to help me store the excess shingles and plywood in my backyard shed, just in case they are needed for future repairs. As a bonus, they were less expensive than any of the big roofing companies I had out, and the contractor who did my job seemed far more experienced/knowledgeable than the technicians who provided my initial estimates. I was very pleased with the prompt, professional work I received and would definitely hire Elk again!

We had two previous contractors that did not work out, and the second contractor took our money. Needing to find someone we could trust to finish our project, we contacted several more contractors. MK Property Solutions was right in the middle price-wise and they are worth their fees. They did not overcharge at all and were transparent about costs and materials. No padding of material costs. They are licensed, bonded and insured. Dave Gregory, the owner, met with us and after hearing about our contractor misfortunes, he personally managed our renovation. They do everything (small and large jobs) and they are knowledgeable. Dave took the time to explain everything in terms we could understand and was never condescending. He genuinely wanted us to know what they were doing and why. He also taught us the difference between bad workmanship and good workmanship. They had to completely gut the previous work that was done on the main bathroom and start again. They renovated the master bathroom with an open shower, added a pocket door, and reconfigured the area to provide more space. Their work is beautiful. They also rebuilt walls that were torn out in the living room and in a bedroom, patched and finished drywall work throughout the house, replaced missing crown molding, repaired a hole in our garage roof and replaced damaged gutters on the garage. Because we had less budget to work with, Dave carefully watched our costs so that we could stay within the budget we had. He meticulously inspected the work of his skilled workmen. All the people working on our house were professional, showed the utmost respect for us and our home, were on time, on budget, and communicated very well. They are an honest company, which, unfortunately, is rare in the industry now. They left the area clean and disposed of all their trash, and even cleaned up the trash of the previous contractor, which was above and beyond in my opinion. MK Property Solutions saved our project and did their best to help us in any way they could. We are grateful to have worked with them and would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to everyone we know.

He called early Monday morning to double check his supplies matched my order and he never stopped working until it was done! Professional, friendly, clean, courteous and FAST. He did in 7 hours of work what it would have taken me 7 weeks to do myself. He was able to center my door (not to spec) and did a great job with the ramp that had to be positioned to handle a pretty steep slant in the yard.
