She is prejudice against people that she thinks does have insurance. I have insurance, but she didn't do her job until I got there. It took 48 minutes to finally verify that I had insurance. By then, it was time for the next patient. Autumn told me that they were not going to clean my teeth and that I had to leave. I drove 2 hours round trip for nothing. Autumn was rude, disrespectful, and talked down to me. She had a chip on her shoulder and a power trip. She should be fired immediately for how she treated me. I will never go back to this dentist office again because of Autumn. There are so many choices of dentists on Linglestowns Road that I don't need this one. I would not even give it one star. Actually it deserves zero stars because the customer service from the employees there is horrible. They are hiring low grade people that don't care about the clients. Autumn bullied and degraded me. She thought I didn't have insurance and treated me like I didn't deserve service. She literally told me to leave. She told the dental hygienist not to service me. She is a horrible person with a mean personality. She should not be working with customers. She is incompetent because I've always had insurance, but she didn't do her job correctly. She needs some customer service training. Also, she should do her job before the patient shows up instead of waiting till the last minute. Dr. Shirley and Dr. Ditty... you are hiring people that are giving your practice a horrible name. With all the competition around you, your employees should be giving top notch service to each and every client no matter what. The client is who pays your salary...just remember that. I tell everyone how horrible your place has gotten. I suggest you give your employees some training and fire employees like Autumn. I could go into detail how horrible Autumn was to me but it would take pages. AUTUMN NEEDS FIRED.

This after I had spent a couple of thousand dollars when I did not have insurance. He gave me a 10% discount once because I was paying his full cost out of pocket. Also, while doing a root canal, he said he was having difficulty completing it and sent me to a specialist. That Doctor found a metal piece from his 'pick' lodged in my gum I think. I had to pay the specialist also. Terrible.

When I complained to Dr. Katz about the broken wire, he said, "You always take that risk." I stated that I didn't think I should pay for any of the extraction procedure. Dr. Katz did accept my insurance payment and did not charge me for my portion of the extraction procedure.

It entirely unreasonable to cut your hours so people have to take vacation time to get a cleaning. The receptionist was an immature person incapable of explanation as a reasonable adult. If you're going to reduce your hours, the very least you could do is plan ahead and honor the appointments you have and not inconvenience patients. I probably have had maybe two sentences of conversation with the dentist over these years as he acts like it is painful to talk to you and he spends less than 5 minutes with the patients. The hygenists are friendly and they will admit that Dr. Sicher prefers for the staff to speak with and explain things to patients. The real pain comes with procedures that he rushes through without adequate analgesia and then again when you get the bill. They charge more for procedures than I have seen any dentist charge and you get maybe 1/3 of this back from insurance if you're lucky. They will not hesitate to cancel or reschedule you the day of an appointment and the office staff is not friendly, accommodating, or apologetic when they jerk you around with scheduling even after your child has taken off school for the visit.
