Great location looking out to the stunning Noosa River. This is the second time we have visited on this trip.
This is another really good restaurant which could be better but the Chef uses a lot coriander, to which I am allergic and which many people don t like. It was so overused that my menu selection was severely reduced.
There were six of us that night and we shared a selection of entrees. The Oysters were declared delicious, the duck liver pate ditto and the crispy fried cuttlefish was great...I had it without the coriander infused mayonnaise.
I chose the Roast Duck leg confit and it was delicious...the duck flesh fell off the bone, and the crispy potatoes were tasty. Sadly the raisin and hazelnut coleslaw was completely over salted.
The Butternut pumpkin ravioli was declared delicious and the rest of the party were very busy with their Grilled Tasmanian WIlderness beef eye fillets. It looked great.
Gusto is consistent and good value for money . However , every time I would come I would have to chose from the small same selection due to the coriander issue..and that is sadly too boring. For this reason instead of four stars, I am only giving three. read more
