This morning, I had to drive through one of the worst snow storms in years. Cars all around me were stuck and sliding sideways. I ended up cutting a path through this obstacle course, as I was afraid I would get hit by one of the sliding cars. My trusty tires plowed right through with great traction. THANK YOU Northfield Tire!!! This is a great place for all-around auto service and tires. The staff is honest, the prices are reasonable, everyone is extremely helpful and very professional. Plus, the waiting area is actually a pleasant place to wait!

Even though it was used, it was still better than my balding, tread showing tire. Pulled up to some good ole boys sitting outside the garage. One of them looked like Uncle Si from Duck Dynasty. After they showed me the tire I said lets do it. Pulled my car in, jacked it up and pulled the old one out. They took it to the back and did all the balancing and what not. I was able to go back and see to make sure they were doing it right. The first tire had an air leak, so they went and got me another one which was better I think. They did the water test, spun and balanced and I was on the road. I'd normally recommend new tires, but in a pinch this will work for now. They take cards. I'd recommend going during daylight hours!

They put my spare back in the trunk and completely away. I've had places just throw the spare in the trunk. I was happy they actually put it back where it belongs. I would recommend if you need a quick repair or new tires. I believe they sell used tires as well. I will definitely be using them again.

I'm a bit irritated. I stopped in to get my tire pressure checked. Granted I have after market…read morevalve covers and apparently the two front ones were stuck on. I empathize with the fact they had an issue getting the two front ones off. The reason for being irritated is the fact that normally having them check the air is free. I had a tip ready for them and the guy who checked the tires tells me his boss is mad because it was taking too long to get the two stem covers off, then proceeded to tell me it was going to now cost me $20 plus tax was added. I didn't have the money to begin with and have now overdrafted to pay for something I was not expecting, especially since I wasn't told prior to them taking them off. Had I known I wouldn't have had them do it. I previously gave 5 stars but today I feel like they did me dirty. So I won't be returning.

Without going into detail we have had mixed experiences here. Our most recent experience was…read moremaddening. They fixed my daughter's oil leaking problem to the tune of $800. But when she drove the car home, there was outrageous and unsafe steering problems. Yes, it's a very old Camry with a lot of miles, and she had already decided this would be her final big investment prior to buying her next car. She's 25 now, and got it used while in college. When we brought it back up there, they were basically like, Oh, yeah she needs a steering alignment, as well as x, y and z. They never said a word, and she had been so relieved she would have a repaired car for her 40 minute work commute the next day. Nope. Just kept the car there for another couple days, while making arrangements again to get to work. Two days later, we pick up the car along with another bill for 5 or 6 hundred. Prior to this, we had good experiences, but I'm undecided whether I'll go back after they returned the car in that condition, knowing full well it was a big problem, instead of of giving her a call about it. They are fast, and have convenient hours.

I needed all new tires because mine had been worn completely down. When I made my appointment (which you should do because they have a ton of walks ins), I told them the tires that I had but they suggested a different brand that would save me more money but they were better in snow. I honestly couldn't be any happier with the result, the price, and the service. If I have any issues in the future, this is where I'll be going. I already told coworkers and family to use them so if that doesn't show how much I would recommend them then 5 stars should do it.

From day one they treated me like family, through oil changes, brakes, random issues that I never would have figured out without their expertise, and miscellaneous items found in my tires (where and how I picked up a countersink I'll never understand); through different shop managers and mechanics; through helping me find new vehicles after driving old ones past 360k miles. The folks at Consumer Tire have always been honest with me, even when I didn't want to hear the truth, keeping me apprised of situations as they arise, such as estimating the life of my tires and brakes, so that I could budget for the future maintenance. For honesty, skill, and expertise, I cannot recommend Consumer Tire highly enough.
