I came here to use the bathroom, my wife bought ice cream bars; but I noticed the local honey, olives and of course jerky...and the friendly staff. "Mom and Pop" store, selling quality foodstuffs I like. Might be back when we're in the neighborhood again.

    Very "patriotic" flag display.

This isn't so much a review as a commentary. The store proclaims it's patriotism, with signs throughout about God, guns, and country. The location near Kingman even has signs about the evils of Democrats. "Fake News," John Wayne and NRA signs abound. And yet they display a ridiculously tattered US flag. As a patriotic American, I'm disgusted at the crocodile emotion they put into being "patriots." Any tenderfoot boy scout would know better. As a side note, the jerky is over priced and not any better than mass produced jerky. I prefer Alien jerky from Baker.

Along the Highway between Boulder City or in this case a trip to Laughlin sets Gus's Really Good Jerky or so the sign says, just a small lil ship just like Searchlight, the city very small..... So we stopped as I have a son that LOVES jerky.....Yes it is still a Pandemic so shelves were not stocked in the store, They really have that we have some snacks for your trip vibe and that part is cool.... However IF you advertise a product (JERKY) than blow me away with that.....I was disappointed in the selection as there is a lil store in Cima that has some serious choices vs this one I recall less than 6 types and I question Gus now as the packaging says made in California, the Jalapeno Pistachios were a hit with me........ but for a lil Snack store between Boulder City, Laughlin and Las Vegas, it is perfect for that spot.......

This place used to be a Mexican restaurant a while back and it wasnt any good. No surprise they closed up shop. As a jerky store, it just might have a better shot of it being there for a good while. I stopped in one wednesday afternoon on the way to Laughlin. The lady behind the counter was very helpful. She had samples on just about every piece of jerky they were selling. Unlike some other places that have their samples in metal containers in which you you pull it out with metal tongs, the samples here are in small plastic containers with lids on them. Thats more sanitary if you ask me. There are also samples of the dried fruits on the opposite side of the room. I ended up getting Lemon Pepper, Cowboy, and Sweet n Spicy. All three had good flavor and was tender except for the cowboy for it was rather chewy. Selection wise they have just enough variety for it to peak your interest. Besides regular beef jerky they have brisket, turkey, and I saw some bison as well. Along with dried fruits there were also nuts, honey, and barbeque sauce. Price wise I think its a little more than some of the other places I have been to. Yelp 2016 Review #23 596 overall

Stopped here out of impulse. It's a small store with a bunch of samples. They want you to try it cause lady was friendly I wish I knew her name so I can give her credit but we were more amazed how delicious the jerky was. We bought 3 bags, a little pricey but well worth it. We bought the teriyaki, sweet n spicy and hot beef brisket jerky. If I tried the hot beef brisket jerky in store I would of bought all the bags, it's soo good! The lady did warn me that its extremely spicy and it is but it's tolerable for my taste. The other flavors were good, they were all tender.

Okay guys when I tell you this place is worth the money you have to trust me ! We were on a trip to Havasu and decided to stop here and get some snacks for the road. We walked inside and honestly it's not very appealing. The lady working came out and talked to us for a little bit. They sell olive oil, honey, dried fruit, nuts and jerky. We got a bag of the dried pineapple and a bag of the sweet and spicy jerky. The prices are a little high the pineapples we're $8 and the jerky was $15 a bag. Let me tell you something tho both of the items are tried were 100% worth the money ! The pineapples we're cut thickly and super chewy like candy unlike the dried pineapple you get at the grocery store. They were so freaking good and I find myself craving them !! The jerky was also so delicious and was full of flavor and had just enough sweet and spice. I definitely recommend trying this place out and I will definitely be returning to try more of their products!!

This was my first visit to the Bullhead City, AZ Auto Service Center! I scheduled my 2024 Buick…read moreEnvista ST for a oil change. I arrived early for the APPT so the tech had plenty of time to perform service. Service writer was friendly and helpful. I informed him my vehicle has a factory installed rear suspension watts bar and the tires PSI should be set to factory label on the door. front 35psi, rear 32psi and he recorded my request on the work order for the tech. I also added a tire rotation if needed! My service results were disappointing as I went through service that was performed. Tires were all set to 35psi as the tech disregarded my request!! Oil life Monitor was Not reset so I reset it myself which is very easy to do on newer cars. Next day I discovered rt rear valve stem cap laying on the ground in my garage so I checked all VS caps and found all were loose so I installed and tightened all caps. The Engine oil level was correct I did not measure the tire tread depths, but concerned they may not have rotated them due to the total service only took about 20 mins. Now here is the recap: I worked in automotive service for 40 years and I get it if a customer were to arrive for their APPT late, that some servicing will be rushed or over looked (not a good thing when it comes to safety of your vehicle) or the tech is having a attitude issue, Another service writer finished my paperwork and saw the tech set the psi all to 35 and saw the comment of set tires to front 35 and rear 32 per factory specs. They did not offer to have the rear tires reset to 32 so I did it myself. These are some minor issues and unfortunately I will not be returning there for service, I also have relatives that have their cars serviced there and I do not want them to have service done improperly either. Hoping the service manager will address the inportance of customer satisfaction and vehicle safety with the staff.

When my receipt finally loaded, she sighed heavily like I was stealing. Her behavior made me feel singled out, uncomfortable, and disrespected -- especially as a mom trying to manage a fussy baby. I've never felt so singled out for no reason. Walmart needs to train staff to treat all customers with respect, because this was unacceptable. To Whom It May Concern,…read more I wanted to share a very disappointing experience that occurred at your Albertsons location on Bicentennial on June 17, 2026, at approximately 9:54 PM. I operate six businesses in Las Vegas and understand the importance of customer service and representing a company professionally. Unfortunately, the customer service displayed by your staff last night was completely unacceptable. From approximately 9:51 PM until 9:55 PM, two employees were standing at the front entrance with their arms folded, turning customers away despite the store being advertised as open until 10:00 PM. If the store intends to stop serving customers before 10:00 PM, that policy should be clearly posted. Otherwise, customers should be allowed to shop until closing time. What was most concerning was the attitude displayed by one of the employees. As customers expressed frustration about being denied entry before the posted closing time, she openly mocked them and stated, "We would like to go home," and "We already closed all the registers." Those comments are inappropriate and unprofessional and reflect poorly on your company. I remained in my car for several minutes afterward because I was genuinely stunned by the interaction. During that time, I observed approximately eight customers being turned away. What made the situation even more troubling was that at approximately 9:58 PM, two teenagers wearing tank tops and shorts were allowed into the store, while an older gentleman who approached immediately afterward had the door shut in his face. They did not appear to be employees. As a customer who has shopped at this location since it opened and spent a significant amount of money there over the years, I found this treatment extremely disappointing. Based on this experience, I will no longer be shopping at this location. Customers have many choices when deciding where to shop. If Albertsons does not value its customers enough to serve them during posted business hours, I am certain another grocery store will gladly earn that business. I do not necessarily expect a response, but I believe the store owner and leadership team should be aware of how customers are being treated. I will also be sharing this experience with my local community and on social media so others can make informed decisions about where they choose to shop. Smith's grocery store steals $1257.54 from disabled veteran!…read more On Sunday morning I logged on to the application and tried to place an order. I had about 60 items in my cart for just over $300. I had entered a new form of payment which showed accepted into the Kroger website. When I went to check out I got an error code saying I could not check out and to call a phone number. I called the toll-free number they explained it's because my store was in one state in my residence is in another. We're twin cities on the Colorado River. We're 10 miles apart. The lady said she corrected it and I was to wait about 15 minutes log off of the site, log back into the site and then try to check out with my order. I did that but I waited an hour not 15 minutes and I went to check out my cart was there as I pushed the button to check out. It gave me another error code and told me to call that number. I figured okay an hour was not long enough. Let's wait a little bit so I tried again. Same story error code. I know my card is accurate. I know they accepted my card. Come to find out these four attempts to check out Kroger charged my card for $1,257.54. I bought nothing. I checked out with nothing. I received nothing. Here we are. Several days later it's the first of the month. All of my bills are now bouncing now I'm getting late charges and fees. I've spent 2 days on the phone trying to speak with Kroger people. By the way, you can't speak with anybody in the United States. They're on the Caribbean and they don't give a rats back but about you or me. It's a call center with foreigners who aren't even in the country and they tell you there's no way to speak to anyone in the United States that was Sunday. So here I am on the 4th and they still have my money and refuse to give it back and there's no one to talk to. I'll tell you that I spend $1,000 a month at the local Smith's. I will never spend another penny. I will tell everyone I possibly can. What a terrible corporation they are. She hears the problem friends having been a finance man my whole career. Let me explain this to you because it's important when they scan your card. It's unauthorization. It's just like you standing at the register. Trying to buy a gallon of milk with your card. You tap your card. You pay the man and you go. That's what they're saying. They're taken each of those four attempts. $318 $318 $318 $308 add it up I don't have my money. My bills are bouncing. I get emails exploding my inbox. Things aren't getting paid. Kroger won't release my money. You know why because if they keep that money for 4 or 5 days they get to earn interest on it. Now my $1,257.54 doesn't sound like much but Kroger has millions and millions of people. If they did a thousand people a day the way they've done me they would have hundreds of thousands of dollars over that 5-day period of other people's money earning interest for then. I will never step foot in a Smith's for the rest of my life. Every chance I have I will tell people about this experience. How and why you're not fooling anybody? And I'm going to make sure everybody knows I'm going to review you every possible way I can. Congratulations! Kroger.

At 90,0000 square feet, the Henderson Winco has been winning at pricing and selection since they opened on March 4, 2012. In contrast to local supermarket chains including Walmart Neighborhood Market, Albertson's, and Smith's; Winco does not saturate the market. In Las Vegas there are currently only three WinCo's. With that being the case, I don't visit as much as I would like to. I am impressed by the prices. WinCo's strategy is to keep costs down by passing over advertising and not accepting credit cards to avoid the merchant processing fees. Additionally there is no pharmacy which keeps the overhead down. I feel that the lack of advertising makes Winco unique and creates this mystique. Without advertising telling me what to think about the business, my mind has its own marketing about the supermarket. It kind of reminds me of a 1970s supermarket. The exterior and logo remind me of the long defunct Woolco Department Store. It is a clean brightly lit store with what I consider a modernized version of a 1970s store. I say this in a good way. When I enter the store through The Wall of Savings I am greeted with a brightly lit and clean store surrounded by deals. It is the antithesis of a dingy and cluttered discount supermarket. Throughout the store the shopping experience is great. In the heart of the store, the top shelf is roughly equivalent to the top of my head. This alleviates the situation of having to struggle to reach for something on the top shelf. From shopping here, I noticed something missing in action. That is lock up cases. I did not see one lock up case. That includes health and beauty aids. I am impressed with their selection. They carry brands that I have not seen at other local supermarkets. This includes Shasta soda. My Winco tradition has been to pay 50 cents for a can of Shasta soda at the vestibule. My go-to item at Winco has been the Tastee Choice frozen shrimp dinners. They are delicious , filling, and cost around $4. Throughout the outstanding selection permeates through the fresh areas, the bulk candy, bakery, and aisles throughout the store. The one thing that Winco can improve on is the check out process. It is normal to only have a few lanes open at a time. There could be a wait. To the left of the full-serve checkouts there are a few self checkout terminals. Additionally, although I don't mind, customers have to bag their own orders. As stated earlier, to pass down the savings, Winco does not accept credit cards. The way I see it, Winco means "Winning." When it comes to finding a great selection and prices, I win when I shop at Winco.
