Market Exterior at Night

This market is a welcome replacement for Aldape's, with a wide selection of items and some premium brand choices. The amount of stock is greater than before; produce is fresh; and prices are closer to supermarket chain prices than Aldape's were. There is also a special deli section with meats and cheeses machine cut to order. And all staff members encountered on multiple occasions have been friendly and helpful. But there are some limitations I have noted. I miss the now ended 24-hour shopping hours where I could arrive from California at 1:00 a.m. and quickly buy what I needed for the next few days. Yet in the advent of Covid-19, 24-hour service hours are now pretty much a thing of the past everywhere except gas stations. Potatoes are only sold by the bag, when I used to be able to select two individual russets for baking. Only one flavor of no sugar added ice cream (French Vanilla) is stocked. And, I couldn't find any canned bamboo shoots at all to include in a stir-fried meal. But these are mere quibbles. On balance, The Market at Laughlin is definitely a welcome addition to the local community.

When visiting Laughlin I always stop and grab some deli chicken and I like the coleslaw too. The selection isn't as big as a normal grocery store but they have everything you need with lots of parking.

This store is super clean and it is hard to remember it being Aldape's as that store was the complete opposite!

The server actually was skilled in slicing lunch meats and various cheeses. The prices were discounted for member savings. Self serve exit was open and useful. Would highly recommend for east coast folks who like their lunch meats cut thin.

Before picking it up, I called with a simple question to see if it could be changed to a 39 piece order since some family members were no longer coming. The employee was very helpful at first. She kindly checked to see if the change could be made and came back to let me know that, unfortunately, it wasn't possible. She also said that in the future I should call about 20 minutes before they make the order. I appreciated her taking the time to check. I then asked a simple follow-up question: "How would I know when to call if I placed the order two days in advance? How do I know when the order is being prepared?" I was only looking for clarification for future orders. At that point, her attitude completely changed. She became impatient, repeated herself without answering the question, and her tone became rude and unprofessional. When I tried to clarify again, she simply said, "Just call when we open." The issue wasn't that my request couldn't be accommodated I completely understand policies. The disappointing part was how the conversation was handled once I asked for clarification. Team members should be trained to remain patient and understanding when customers are simply trying to understand the process for future orders. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I won't be ordering chicken from this location again.

Smith's grocery store steals $1257.54 from disabled veteran!…read more On Sunday morning I logged on to the application and tried to place an order. I had about 60 items in my cart for just over $300. I had entered a new form of payment which showed accepted into the Kroger website. When I went to check out I got an error code saying I could not check out and to call a phone number. I called the toll-free number they explained it's because my store was in one state in my residence is in another. We're twin cities on the Colorado River. We're 10 miles apart. The lady said she corrected it and I was to wait about 15 minutes log off of the site, log back into the site and then try to check out with my order. I did that but I waited an hour not 15 minutes and I went to check out my cart was there as I pushed the button to check out. It gave me another error code and told me to call that number. I figured okay an hour was not long enough. Let's wait a little bit so I tried again. Same story error code. I know my card is accurate. I know they accepted my card. Come to find out these four attempts to check out Kroger charged my card for $1,257.54. I bought nothing. I checked out with nothing. I received nothing. Here we are. Several days later it's the first of the month. All of my bills are now bouncing now I'm getting late charges and fees. I've spent 2 days on the phone trying to speak with Kroger people. By the way, you can't speak with anybody in the United States. They're on the Caribbean and they don't give a rats back but about you or me. It's a call center with foreigners who aren't even in the country and they tell you there's no way to speak to anyone in the United States that was Sunday. So here I am on the 4th and they still have my money and refuse to give it back and there's no one to talk to. I'll tell you that I spend $1,000 a month at the local Smith's. I will never spend another penny. I will tell everyone I possibly can. What a terrible corporation they are. She hears the problem friends having been a finance man my whole career. Let me explain this to you because it's important when they scan your card. It's unauthorization. It's just like you standing at the register. Trying to buy a gallon of milk with your card. You tap your card. You pay the man and you go. That's what they're saying. They're taken each of those four attempts. $318 $318 $318 $308 add it up I don't have my money. My bills are bouncing. I get emails exploding my inbox. Things aren't getting paid. Kroger won't release my money. You know why because if they keep that money for 4 or 5 days they get to earn interest on it. Now my $1,257.54 doesn't sound like much but Kroger has millions and millions of people. If they did a thousand people a day the way they've done me they would have hundreds of thousands of dollars over that 5-day period of other people's money earning interest for then. I will never step foot in a Smith's for the rest of my life. Every chance I have I will tell people about this experience. How and why you're not fooling anybody? And I'm going to make sure everybody knows I'm going to review you every possible way I can. Congratulations! Kroger.

This was my first visit to the Bullhead City, AZ Auto Service Center! I scheduled my 2024 Buick…read moreEnvista ST for a oil change. I arrived early for the APPT so the tech had plenty of time to perform service. Service writer was friendly and helpful. I informed him my vehicle has a factory installed rear suspension watts bar and the tires PSI should be set to factory label on the door. front 35psi, rear 32psi and he recorded my request on the work order for the tech. I also added a tire rotation if needed! My service results were disappointing as I went through service that was performed. Tires were all set to 35psi as the tech disregarded my request!! Oil life Monitor was Not reset so I reset it myself which is very easy to do on newer cars. Next day I discovered rt rear valve stem cap laying on the ground in my garage so I checked all VS caps and found all were loose so I installed and tightened all caps. The Engine oil level was correct I did not measure the tire tread depths, but concerned they may not have rotated them due to the total service only took about 20 mins. Now here is the recap: I worked in automotive service for 40 years and I get it if a customer were to arrive for their APPT late, that some servicing will be rushed or over looked (not a good thing when it comes to safety of your vehicle) or the tech is having a attitude issue, Another service writer finished my paperwork and saw the tech set the psi all to 35 and saw the comment of set tires to front 35 and rear 32 per factory specs. They did not offer to have the rear tires reset to 32 so I did it myself. These are some minor issues and unfortunately I will not be returning there for service, I also have relatives that have their cars serviced there and I do not want them to have service done improperly either. Hoping the service manager will address the inportance of customer satisfaction and vehicle safety with the staff.

I told her I had it on my phone and waited for the Walmart app to load. She rushed me, ignored other customers, and refused to check someone else's receipt while I was still waiting. When my receipt finally loaded, she sighed heavily like I was stealing. Her behavior made me feel singled out, uncomfortable, and disrespected -- especially as a mom trying to manage a fussy baby. I've never felt so singled out for no reason. Walmart needs to train staff to treat all customers with respect, because this was unacceptable. I want to speak to management about how I was treated, because Walmart needs to ensure all customers are treated fairly and with respect.
