Norbert messaged me right away letting me know Rudy would be calling me. Sure enough, Rudy called me within an hour and was over same day to provide me the estimate. Rudy spent a lot of time with me letting me know what was possible on our steep slope and listening to all my concerns. He quoted me a great price for all the work and put the agreement in writing via text. Rudy and his team came back to following week to do the job and left everything ever better than I expected. They cleaned the hillside (steep slope), trimmed all my overgrown trees, fixed our sprinklers and did an amazing job cleaning everything up. I have never had a landscape company clean up as well as they did. I will definitely be calling them for my next landscape job which will include adding more plants to the hillside.

This is our first major contracted work on our new home, and we wanted everything to be as perfect and smooth as possible. We know a few neighbors that went though horror story level issues with their landscaping contractors, and we wanted zero drama. The ratio of pavers and turf highly affects the cost but what hooked us to System Pavers was the complete transparency of the work required for the job, the quality of their sourced materials, and the professionalism of their contracted project manager and construction team! The entire process that System Pavers follows from the in-home visits from the sales team (Christopher Lawson in our case), the online portal that tracks all of the progress and costing, as well as the final work with the management and installation teams (Jose Gonzalez and Juan Carlos) were pretty much flawless in our experience. Marshall was good to deal with , but his subcontractor "Joaquin Lopez" was impossible Poor Quality 1.The dyed concrete came out is various colors and was very apparent it was not mixed well 2. The stamping was not done correctly and in places we had tool , brush and footprints in the concrete, sections that were not stamped, steps that never got finished 3. During demolition there was damage to the plaster in my pool that was never repaired 4. During the pouring of the concrete there was splash onto my stucco that has never been removed. 5. The reinforcement wire was not supported and sunk to the dirt. This caused major cracks in the concrete Communication 1. Marshall did what he could to communicate but was not getting response from Lopez 2. Lopez would make promises and then not deliver most of the time 3. Money was requested and paid each time but I never held back enough to have any leverage. This was my mistake. To California Rocks Credit, they did come out and cut out some of the worst areas and poured new concrete. They offered to apply a coating to make all the concrete match. This made the situation better. The pattern they sprayed is not what I wanted, but to make this whole situation go away I agreed with it and it is done, Nothing I can do now except hate it. To this day there are areas in my front walk and driveway that have a white residue on them that I have asked several times to have fixed and I am now getting no response from Marshall or Joaquin Lopez.

Mr. Lopez came out looked and he said he will make our yard look beautiful and he snd his crew did for thumbs up great work clean and respectful of ones Property so pleased I could cry tears of JOY Our yard looks amazing California Rocks!!!!
