I've heard that the new wagamama menu was much better and I was excited to try it. The new branch…read morein Bromley is similar to the other wagamama chains - open kitchen and canteen like. The lovely thing is that the restaurant looks out into a park, perfect for little toddlers and children to run about whilst still keeping an eye on them. Perfect for a lovely sunny day. Outdoor seatings available. Presentation of food was excellent. It was colourful, eye pleasing, generous portions and on lovely platewares. Food wise was slightly up and down. I thought the sides that we chose were amazing. The chilli squid look lush, skillfully scored, properly deep fried and sprinkled with plenty of chilli powder. If not careful, you'll chocked on the chilli. With the dipping sauce I felt it was perfect. Our second side was the ebi katsu. The prawns, butterflies, battered was also done well. The batter was just the right thickness and prawns still moist. Both the fried dishes were not oily. The grilled tuna main was cooked to medium but the fish was under seasoned and texture was tough and compact. The quinoa was also bland. Generous portion size, though. Pad Thai lacked all the great flavours of sweet and sour. It has more beansprouts than noodles. Presentation was great but a huge let down. Chicken katsu curry was quite a plateful. The side of raw salad was colourful and fresh but the glossiness of the rice and a thick starchy looking sauce that quite pleasantly blankets the dish seemed a little sweet. I was not sure if I'd like the dish but I'd certainly would not order it again. Duck ramen was also meh, blandest of them all. Fried banana and caramel ice-cream was a good pairing. The caramel ice-cream was smooth lovely with a mouthful of banana. It was terribly busy and drinks were late. Food came sporadically so we could not eat together. Newly opened, teething problems but if it was a chain, they should have got their act together.

My first time at Wagamama, and I loved it. The whole meal cost maybe £40 for 3 people, and the food…read morewas delicious. We divvied up the Chicken Katsu, Wagamama Ramen and the Yaki Udon between the 3 of us. It was delicious. The Katsu sauce was a great addition, and the Ramen had a myriad of beautiful flavours. The Udon was my favourite. It was a great combination. The only issue was that it wasn't very spicy, despite having asked for spicy. But the chilli oil and spicy powder easily fixed that! Despite being full, we all found space for the Banana Katsu. It was a great way to end the meal, despite being a bit hot. The service was absolutely great, giving us honest recommendations and opinions all the way through.

The restaurant has a really…read moreenergetic atmosphere and the design is beautiful -- it definitely feels like a place for a special dinner or a night out with friends. The concept of mixing Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian flavors is really unique and you can see it throughout the menu. The sushi was very fresh and well presented, and the small plates were great for sharing. I especially enjoyed the creative combinations and the attention to detail in the dishes. The cocktails were also excellent and very well balanced. Service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. Overall, it's definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience make it worth it for a special occasion or a fun night out.

Every dish we enjoyed was delicious--except for the ahi Amarillo rice, which didn't have much flavor but looked fantastic. The highlight of the night was the black cod; it was perfectly tender and full of flavor. The service truly made us feel special, with my plate always cleared and my wine glass never going empty. We had an incredible time and are really looking forward to exploring their other locations soon.
