I have an SO4 Beretta with a problem Beretta recommended Mitch. I spoke to him on the phone twice the second time he said he would send me the paper work so I could ship it to him. No paper work, called eight times on different days phone always busy, can't send Email or leave a voice message. Mitch is great, I guess, if your within driving distance of his shop. excellent work. I have taken my 12 gauge in several times for maintenance. I have tried other places for repair, and they were far more expensive, took longer, and botched the repairs completely. I took the gun to these guys once to fix the botch of another smith, who was more convenient to use. I brought a 311 - 20 gauge shotgun that was only slightly used but had a plastic stock to Mitch. Yes plastic. I loved the gun for grouse shooting and training Spaniels years ago. The stock was floppy and could not be tightened down. I brought the gun to a "local" gunsmith. He had it for 10 months. When I picked it up the stock was "really" broken. He also broke the trigger guard. Of course I paid nothing. Mitch put in a new wood stock and fixed the trigger guard. The money it cost me is about comparable to what it would cost to buy a used 311 in the same condition, if not less. My wife shoots it at the range. It is perfect for her. Yes, its old gun but it has new life. Great job. read more
