It was such an informative class and very well instructed. I came back the next day to rent a couple of guns and see what I like. Everyone was so nice and helpful. After a hundred rounds with Nick as my RSO (who was awesome), I decided to purchase my first firearm. Received a NICS delay but Dave and Christian explayed everything to me about how this was pretty common. I came in today to check on the delay and unfortunately, my transfer was accidently canceled. Brian jumped right in, ran a new BC and in 20 minutes I was out the door with my new Canik SFX Rival S. I can not say enough about how kind, informative and safety conscious the entire staff is at Best Shot and I look forward to being a long-time customer! All ranges have waivers and most understand how they need to protect themselves. I frequented a range in western MD, when I lived there, that didn't have such a clause.

May 31, 2015. No good story ever starts with, "I ordered a…read moresalad... ", But when it starts, "let's go shooting....", well that is a different plot. Take one rainy Saturday down the Jersey shore, and sprinkle in six friends on a girls weekend,and you will get a great memory to take away like an ornament on a Christmas tree. That's right, this is how we greeted RICK, all decked out in our matching pink shirts. I can only imagine his initial thought on the hoard of 50 year olds walking in the gun shop that day. His open mind to teach, inform, and educate us on proper gun handling and safety was not wasted. He took his time with each of us and the firearm of choice. He didn't stop there as he passed us off to fellow workers, DON and BETTY. They eased us into our shooting stalls, one with a 9 mm and one with a 22 caliber. Instructed our group to be each other's support system. IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!!! As much as the word shenanigans came up, we keep a professional demeanor in the range. We would never jeopardize anyone's safety or disrespect our teachers of the day. At the end of our time, Betty showed off the hatchet range with the delight. Rates for clays are quite reasonable and include 1-2 "look" clays for each stand. Call ahead to make sure they are open to the public as sometimes they are closed for competition or tournaments. Service is good, and no lessons or equipment are offered so be sure to bring your own.
