You can shoot across other lanes , you have people shooting short shotguns with spread shot at 50 and 100yards--ruining other people's targets. the range direction faces the sun, so you're blinded when it's sunny. $30 per person for the rifle and pistol range. That's quite a price for a place that has cinder blocks and concrete bench tops covered in marine bunk carpet and dirt formed in berms. And arguably it'd be worth it if there was a much more organized regimen to the operation, because they do have 50, 100, 200, 300, & 500 yard ranges. The good: the staff are friendly--all of them. Range distances. Mix of steel, dynamic and static targets. I highly doubt I'll be back.

Check in was quick and easy, the ranges were not crowded, and the service there friendly and accommodating. At $30 a person, it wasn't cheap, bu any means, but when you consider that they have a lot of land and offer a lot of shooting options, it is pretty awesome, and not outrageously priced. I think my Son-in-Law will be returning on hos own there now, since he is but 30 minutes away, and I am over on the Western shore.

This will be long! I searched google for HQL/wear carry training near me. There were several. 3/7…read morewas only a few miles from my house. I reviewed the reviews. Nearly all 5 stars so I decided to give it a shot. My first experienced was signing up. The webpage is clean and easy to navigate. I used the live chat for questions and the owner Will responded in real time (not some automated bot). Five stars for the website! My wife went first for an HQL. She is shy and never held a gun. I was nervous about her going alone. Will, said he would take good care of her. She came home beaming with pride. SHE DID IT! She said Will was very kind and patient. She said she loved the course. So we went and bought her her first firearm (S&W Equalizer 9mm). Now me. I went next for a wear/carry on 6/24, 6/25. I only own a 357 revolver. Will was gracious enough to let me use one of his personal semi-autos. I am not implying he does this for everyone. You are expected to bring your own firearm and should, but he graciously made an exception. His resume was impressive. I liked the fact we both did Basic Training and AIT at Ft. McClellan Ala. and were both MP's. You could tell from the opening moments of instruction he was prepared. He had a nice blend of mixing the formal PPT material with classroom interaction and hands on exercises to keep the students engaged. I appreciate this since I was an instructor on US ARMY Depo's for many years. I am a vet. I could have skipped the training with my DD-214, but I am sure glad I did not! Will taught me about things I was not aware of, from tactical techniques, to laws, to how to apply for my permit. Well worth my time and money. Never once felt "bored". I have six pages of notes crammed with important information from the sessions. On the range, I felt comfortable and safe. He took command of the range. I scored 100% I shook his hand and left. I will use him again for recertification for sure. Oh, I forgot to mention his wife is available right in the classroom for you fingerprinting needs. Trophy to Will.
