Bao Yeah offers not only bao but bowls and fried chicken as well. Their ordering (via tablet) is convenient, and they turn around orders quickly. I went with a three-piece bao, which allowed me to sample the two fried chicken varieties (K*Bomb with gochujang and Garlic Gang with soy black garlic) as well as the bulgogi. All of the bao were amply stuffed with meat and pickled vegetables and slathered with tasty sauce. The thick buns held everything in place, so eating was not too sloppy an endeavor. Everything delivered the expected flavors - sweet heat from the K*Bomb, a tangier note from the bulgogi - and the fried chicken boasted a thick, crunchy batter. It was quite tasty though the chicken was definitely a bit dry. At least the bulgogi was nice and tender. All told, Bao Yeah is a promising newish addition to the Triad food truck scene. It may not be the best Korean street food you've ever had, but you're in for a flavorful meal without a long wait.

They're open Friday, Saturday , and Sunday so if you need your fix grab it and stock some in your fridge it's only available 3 days a week and they sell of of some items by Saturday afternoon with their high demand. It was still amazing and my favorite thing I've had from the truck by far beside the jerk chicken. Oxtail ; this is the only thing I haven't liked so far. I personally do not like sweet meat and the oxtail was sweet to me. They were well cooked though. Very tender. I haven't re ordered them though. Jerk Chicken ; this chicken is so delicious (this is a theme most of the truck is great ). I cleaned the bones off this chicken. It was tender and they allow you to say how you'd like the sauce I don't like ketchup so I asked that it doesn't have that with jerk and bbq only. Rice and Peas ; your typical rice and peas very good. Rasta Pasta ; this is my favorite side but it can be a bit inconsistent. Sometimes it's dry other times it perfect with a little sauce on it but I enjoy it every time with my meal. Overall a great place and I would recommend it.

My food took 10 minutes to be made which I love. I don't mind waiting for fresh food. The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender , the rice was the same not overcooked or mushy. The sauce ! Both those entrees were delicious but the Korma really stood out to me. The rich and creamy sauce was very unique to my pallet and when I returned, I ordered the Chicken Korma. Clearly I love a good sauce. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, very spacious and would be great for groups or a romantic dinner for 2 (or 3 if you are into that sort of thing). They aren't too big, standard taco sized, but they were incredibly flavorful, loaded with slow cooked birria, and a generous pile of cheese, all wrapped up in home made corn tortillas, these they were fantastic! The owner, was very friendly and welcoming when we approached the truck. He made some suggestions, and did not disappoint. The chicken is precooked and stored on the prep counter, used as orders come through. The steak is the same but more was being cooked as I waited. The rice portions are big, the meats are placed in top of the rice and mixed veggies portioned out of stored container as well. The cook is very meticulous at sorting a certain amount of each vegetable placed in the containers. I do not like undercooked beef, cashier said I could get mine well-done, but I guess it wasn't noted! One piece of steak was pink -partially cooked - but cold in the center. I also got a medium green tea with peach flavor- - SUPERB!!! Would I return? Yes, but I would get something that absolutely must be cooked right at the moment of ordering. P.S.
