A new, trendy, funky Indian restaurant FINALLY in Orlando!! But don't be fooled by the cool art and Sanjay Dutt theme of the restaurant. Have been here twice now. First when they had recently opened and second a few days back. First time the service was very slow. Our first item came after 45 mins after we ordered. And everything came in a random order, one drink or one food item at a time. It looked like they were under staffed. The servers looked overwhelmed and inexperienced. Few items we ordered were super spicy. Although we asked for medium spice, the server told us that these dishes are traditionally spicy. Well, we won't be ordering them again. We ordered multiple items - Bhel (bland), Chili cheese toast (spicy, avg), Bhindi fries (good), Gully pizza with paneer and schezwan (spicy, avg), Paneer paratha tacos (good), Schezwan momos (avg), Veg Kolhapuri (spicy, avg), Falooda (avg), Aalo bombs (avg, spicy) Second time was a similar experience. Slow service, small food portions and average taste does not justify the high prices they charge. Though the interior looks nice and fresh, the plaza is dirty and stinky. Bathrooms look like they have never been cleaned. Definitely try the restaurant for its vibe and experience. And I hope to update my review and add a star in the near future.

Okra fries and chaat

Cool ambience and great food. This Bombay street food restaurant with a theme honoring Bollywood legend Sanjay Dutt is part of the House Of Spices complex. My party shared an order of chaat and okra fries to start. The chaat was spicy, tangy and flavorful while the okra fries were spiced just right and not greasy. I had a kathi roll and the roll is actually made of a malabar style flaky paratha. Tried the manchurian chili noodles also. The food was on point and the service was quick. Also, they have a robot waiter that was serving food, never seen that before. Definitely coming back in the future.

Lunch buffet .....

Ambience - great Hospitality- nice Food- very good. I liked the jeera rice and yellow dal. Other items in buffet is also good. Definitely a place where you can come back again. Suggestions: desert can be better.

Chai perfect

We visited Gully because we heard about the Sanjay Dutt theme. The space was done up beautifully. The food was the icing on the cake though. Everything we tried tasted fantastic, the staff was courteous as well. Highly recommended.

Tandoori veg momos are so good, but a bit spicy though. Noodles are the best I have had in the USA, period

Excellent decor and authentic Indian street food, with warm and wonderful service - such a great addition to the Orlando foodie scene!

Would give zero stars if there is such option. Un-friendly and rude staff, un-clean tables, zero courtesy.

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

Food was terrible ! Carnitas has pork taint . Not only that my taco was dripping this putrid fat !…read moreI nearly threw up after one bite , but was on a date so kept it on the down low . ASADA- almost as bad . Dry no juice at all chunks is grizzle . Prime rib tacos ... are you JOKING ? Some cheap cut of beef not cut on the bias and stringy . Sangria ? Go ahead , drink five pitchers and you'll be fine to drive( other than puking ) no alcohol at all in the sangria . Only ok things were the guac and refried beans ... that's it . I am writing this review sitting on the toilet for the fourth time tonight

Decided to go here after the corporate 5k race instead of staying near Lake Eola. It was pretty…read morecrowded when I came, but I ordered through the kiosk. I bought 3 chicken tacos (about 12 dollars), then sat in an empty table to wait. It was ready for me in under 10 minutes. The tacos were small, but they had a good amount of chicken, cheese, onions, tomato, and cilantro. A choice of sauce was included, and I took the hot red sauce. The sauce was small, but still ample enough to pour over the three tacos. The flavors were pretty good (thanks to the heat from the sauce) and it was filling enough for me, though the flour tortillas was a bit too hard for me. The service was pretty good, though I ordered from the kiosk and I picked up my order after they called my name. However, they did check up on me, as well a provided water to cops, and removed empty items from the tables. The staff were quite friendly. The dining area was small and a bit boring. There were 2TVs showing ads for their products, and 1 displaying a horse race. The restaurant was quite cramped, and I was thankful to find a table. It's located in downtown, so parking will be either in a meter or a garage. This restaurant serves pretty good tacos at a reasonable price, but the atmosphere was a bit bland for a taqueria. It was also small and can get crowded and full easily. Best to have this to go or delivered. It's still a nice restaurant for tacos in downtown.
