One thing I'm failing to understand is just because a breed of dog is small, why make the section for them tiny?! I mean, they need space and room to run, play, jump, and socialize too! The larger breed dog park is huge--it's about at estimate a parking lot size whereas the smaller dog park is at estimate two guest bedrooms combined together. Now, the larger dog park had jumping activities, several benches to sit, and enough space. Though, the smaller dog park had one table with shade--two ladies crowded the table. Two filthy buckets of water with brown dirt caked on the bottom. It had dead flies laying in the water--plus it probably had all kinds of saliva from sick and healthy dogs. It was pretty gross. In both small and large dog parks, it wasn't no doggie poop bags. They were stone cold out! I had to give this lady two bags of what I bought. The park was pathetic. It was strange because it was workers there in the park and its not like they seemed to care about what the park lacked. I guess they were there for the money only. Also, back in 2012 when my sister and I came out with Pocky and his sister the larger dog park had a hole in the fence. My two babies got out of the gate onto incoming traffic. I'm not sure if they fixed that or not, but that was a huge issue. Now, the event Paws in the Park was pretty ok. They had a lot of vendors selling things: dog clothing, accessories, nail trims, dog rescue groups, doggie pool, and lots of dogs. The event is free with free parking. That's the nice. However. the park is crap. It was bare-minimum--not a great park at all.

He took us to the Ghirardi Family Watersmart Park. I was impressed by the cisterns they had and everything that was going on in this location. The playground was the perfect size for my girl and she loved running around it. There are benches and picnic tables throughout. There is a nice small pavilion and bathroom for park guests as well. The trees here are magnificent! If you are looking for a park that isn't crowded in the League City area I would absolutely recommend this one! I hope to go back when we are in the area.

This park is the perfect combination of traditional playground and nature reserve. There are so…read moremany mature trees to provide shade. My kids found huge egret bird nests in the tree canopy. There's a new playground set for the kids. I would beware the monkey bars, though. I saw a little boy break his arm. It's my favorite place to be during sunset. I had my son's Pokémon birthday party there under the covered pavilion and that was a great party! We searched for Pokémon in the area. The bathroom is always tidy. There was that one time though that a velociraptor chased after my kids, but we managed to escape its clutches. Otherwise it's a really great park to visit.

Hmmm, I seem to be a fan of the parks lately. Which isn't a bad thing! Webster has some really nice…read moreparks; I wish I had realized that sooner, but now that I am running more, and looking for different places to run during my longer runs, I have stumbled across this little hidden gem. I always knew it was here, and we actually stopped by here one year around Christmas time as they decorate the little gazebo with white lights. It's very pretty, and very romantic, but after that time I sorta forgot it was here. Yesterday though I was on a long run and decided to see if this park has a running trail. And it does! It's only 1/4 of a mile but a lot of it is shady (nice!) and I love the surface! It's not gravel like Texas Avenue and it's softer than asphalt. It feels like the surface that's on an actual track. And bonus, there's NOBODY here. If you want a quiet, solitary run, come here! There was one lady and her young child at the playground area and as I was leaving another runner came along. That's it. Maybe it gets busier later, or at different time, I don't know. Now granted, this is a small park. No bathrooms, no water fountains, and just a couple little playground areas. But lots of picnic tables and benches and the nice gazebo, and of course the little track. But for a nice little quiet run in a nice little quiet neighborhood, this is the place to be! I know I will be back!

I really like this park. It is located in Pasadena. The complex is made up of three softball…read morefields. The park is very well kept and great for big events. My employer has a yearly softball tournament. The tournament usually has at least five teams and employees from all of the Houston area are welcome to participate. The event is usally a lot of fun with a great turn out. The park can definitely accomodate large groups as the parking lot holds at least 500 cars, the only thing is that it is some 200-300 feet from the fields. But, a little walking never hurt anyone. To rent the space you would have to call the city of Pasadena. A few years back, it was about $125 per field. But I heard from the this year's organizers it was about $450 for three fields. They also have a concession stand they open for events, such as ours. The food is not too expensive and the staff there is friendly. It's funny because every time we go play, I think of joining a league and play softball! Then, when I wake up sore the next day... I change my mind. They do have leages that play in spring and summer, so if you are interested, definitely look them up. I think it's like $290 per teams or something like that. Nice park, great complex and good ol' fun playing softball!

I give this park a three star cause…read morewhen playing the game we as most love to play the score boards are out and when you bring kids it's kinda a lot of adult time and not to much for a whole family to go and enjoy. The fields are well maintained and the umps are cool usually but as far as bringing the little ones to go not only watch but have something to do there's not really much. Pulling in the sign is very visible and you can see where to go, but the field are missing number and the bathrooms are okay I guess, they could be a lot better if I say so myself. The city could also add some kid friendly stuff to maybe bring out more families and kids when playing the game. The lighting is okay but usually there's a lot of folks out playing for teams who's around coming and going from games. We all have our opinions on things but I'll continue to go cause I love the game of softball.
