We only stayed one night, but it was a nice place and very clean. They have a gym, swimming pool, store, playground, bark park, and plenty of grounds to walk your dog. There is a field to play fetch. It's close to the highway and Pappadeaux's restaurant for those who like fish. There are other restaurants near by and gas stations. My only negative is not toward Gulf Coast RV, but the lazy people that own dogs and don't pick up the mess in the bark park. For goodness sake, they provide everything you need to pick it up and a trash can. They even have a big sign on the gate entrance to remind you to do it. read more

Park is adequate regarding amenities, facilities are clean and well kept. However, front desk clerk is super grumpy & the WIFI absolutely sucks. It's inoperable and since surround cell is spotty at best, it made for a more frustrating time than anticipated. Best feature of the park is the location to the State Fair, just 2 miles from here. Lyft is available for those that want/need to leave your RV parked. read more

We made our reservations to stay here over 6 months before our planned stay. What we could not have known at the time was that Hurricane Irene would wreak havoc upon this RV resort resulting in a storm surge over 10' tall just three weeks before our arrival. When we arrived, the grounds looked as if nothing had happened. The grass was green and mowed, the sites were cleaned up and by all appearances business was as usual. The storm damaged sheet rock inside the office, bathrooms and recreation room and they were in the process of replacing it. Even so, the attitude of the management staff was upbeat, friendly, professional and helpful. Part of the amenities here include a free breakfast each morning. On the morning after our arrival, they were serving waffles in the shape of the state of Texas -- now how cool is that? The bathrooms and showers were the first to be put back in order and they were spotless. The only negative is that the freeway is under construction in this area, making for a somewhat twisty and turny journey to actually get to the resort. If ever we are in the Beaumont area again, we will definitely stay here again. Thanks friends for your hospitality. read more

We are/were just staying one night here but we picked up a bolt that flattened our motor home tire. If we had to be stranded somewhere I'm grateful it's at Gulf Coast Rv park. Staff is beyond helpful, patient and friendly. Park is CLEAN and everyone has a site that has some grass. Not a lot but it is very pleasant here. Haven't used the pool but it looks inviting. They serve breakfast every morning but we missed it today. Looking forward to going tomorrow morning. Very quiet place with just rows and rows of pull-thru sites. It's a nice spot to stay for a month or 2 not long term tho ! Very nice and quiet at night it does flood when it rains, nothing to bad but it doesn't dry quick ! Takes maybe 2 days ! Washer place is nice accepts quarters and card, public restrooms a kept clean ! Office Ladies are so sweet ! They have a nice pool ! I like the park. Upscale and expensive. We are in a 2022 Renegade Ikon. Nice but please don't think it's very close to water. I like a waterfront spot and although they have a couple lakes, I doubt you can get one of those. I want ocean and while we traveled we found other options that I would have preferred. If we once again need to stay in Port A I will find a happier spot for me. read more

We stayed here for 1 night on May 22, 2019. It was a really nice RV park. The spaces are a nice size and I think all of them are pull throughs! It's a short drive from the freeway with easy off and on access! We didn't hear any noise from the freeway during our stay! The grounds and RV sites are very well maintained! There's a pool and bikes for people to use. The showers were very nice, clean and spacious! We were on a 3 week road trip from San Diego, CA to Memphis, Alabama and then back home. Of all the places we stayed, this was one of the top RV parks!! We would stay there again if we find ourselves in the area! Highly recommend this RV park! read more

Nice park; RUDE office staff Like others have said, the ladies in the office were rude or mean each time we encountered them. We felt unwelcome. The RV Park is otherwise clean and well kept. This is a beautiful campground with large level sites, clean facilities and a nice pool. Its right off the freeway. We made an overnight reservation about a week out. We arrived about 45 minutes before they were scheduled to close, but the office was closed. No biggie, after all we'd made a reservation. No after hours reservation for us, but they had several spots available and good after hours check in procedures including a map, a key, etc. We parked, set up, and tried to connect to the "free" satellite TV. Didn't work, wires & box were ripped out of the pole, apparently the site had not been checked. Everything else worked well, very dog friendly, we enjoyed our rest. The next morning we packed up and went to pay. Office was supposed to open at 9. Went back twice after nine. Both times it was closed with a "Be Back in 10 Minutes." Third time i went they were back. My wife expressed our frustration with the inaccurate officer hours and the broken satellite. She told me the satellite service is "never broken" and seemed to indicate we were at fault. She had a broken foot, this was her explanation for closing the office early. And she was training a new employee this morning, so she had to leave the office. She was very polite. It would have been nice to be offered a discount because of my lost reservation and broken satellite. This is a nice stop while in the area, but it needs better service and attention to detail to be a "five star" facility. read more

Had plans to stay at a near by trailer park, on the way from Kerrville we received a phone call from the trailer park saying that they had no electricity, we were fine with that as we just need to stay one night, when we arrived at the trailer park no one was to be found as to tell us where we could park. We called the office and no one answered. Being that we arrived a little after 5 P. M. we called other campgrounds and no one answered, fortunately when we called Gulf Coast Rv they picked up the phone and said they could accommodate us. Nice stop for the night- easy access location and very friendly staff. They have clean facilities easy pull through sites. Only complaint is it was raining pretty hard and some areas/sites can get a bit muddy and flooded. Shopping is about 10 minutes away. read more

Very clean campground. Easy pull through lots. Easy access to the highway. Nice friendly staff. It was nice to have a breakfast in the morning. The only complaint is the shower didn't have hot water. It would have been nice to have after a long day of travel. If the would have hit shower it would be 5 star stay. read more

Very nice RV park, with Wi-Fi, satellite tv, swimming pool, and free breakfast. ALL are pull-throughs, over 60 feet. Very friendly people, and very clean facilities. No shade trees, and the sites are a bit narrow, but all-in-all, this is a really good place to stop. Interior roads are plenty wide. read more

What an oasis to arrive at when crossing I-10. It is easy off and on, friendly people in the office, willing to work with us on being stranded awaiting a part to be shipped in and staying another night. Wonderful breakfast each morning, gravy was super; and wonderful people in park avoiding whatever the tropic weather brought through. All concrete pads throughout, only problem was an abundance of rain had saturated the grass. Drivers had missed the pads and created ruts in grass causing one to step ankle deep into the water. Pads could be a little wider or a gravel aporn alongside. Will stop there again, recommend it. read more

This is a very nice campground. It's great for a short stay, right off the highway and easy-in/easy-out. The roads & sites are cement. The sites are level and long enough for the RV & car. The only problem we found is that the water pipe connection is low and it makes it difficult to connect to the sewer, which is right above it. There's a cement patio with a table. There's no cable tv. The shower/bathrooms are large and clean. The laundry is also clean and has 4 washers ($1.50) and 4 dryers ($1.50). read more

Beautiful park with one glaring exception. They let a moron decide where to put the water and sewer connects. The poop hole is inches away from the water faucet as in directly under it-what an imbecile. Except for this they'd have gotten five stars. read more

We could not get in a rv spot because we have a window unit in our bedroom we my husband sleeps in the day time because the units in these campers dont keep it cool enough so we put one in and they refuse our service that is sorry of them wont ever say anything good about this sorry place read more

Easy on-off highway, but along with that comes traffic noise. Sites are not cement, had to do a bit of leveling. Major drainage problems with rain. We had to rearrange patio stepping stones so we could get into our trailer without walking thru mud and water. They brought plywood board/half-sheets to some sites to use as walkway. laundry - $1.50 to wash or dry(dryer ran a long time, but had to pay another $1.50 to get clothes completely dry; with a quarter dryer you only spend until your clothes are dry). A small cement patio with a picnic table. Free breakfast and ice. A bit of a drive from banking, grocery, restaurants and shopping. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would give a 4 star if drainage issue resolved. Thank you. read more

Left several voicemails on Sunday trying to make a reservation but no return phone calls. When we arrived there were no late registration instructions. Staff was ok but not friendly. Also you need a key to get into the showers and restrooms, which you can't get until you checkin. Overall, the park was clean but would of preferred a KOA. read more

Campground is clean. No shade trees and a ton of cement. The managers are both rude and nasty. There is an assistant mgr and mgr both have serious attitude problems. They say cable tv is available which it is not (very poor and 10 channels), internet is also supposed to be available but the signal is very poor and keeps dropping. Call the "Managers" to get it fixed and they did nothing. You need nicer folks to run this place, it is camping and suppose to be fun not dealing with people that hate their jobs?
