They had a great menu of different items from pastries, sandwiches, fresh juices/smoothies and espresso drinks. This cafe's menu items reminded me of a Whole Foods type of vibe, very healthy and fresh. I ordered both a savory potato type pastry that had a bit of a spice kick to it, and also a cardamom bun. I enjoyed both. I also ordered a fresh ginger and carrot juice since I felt slightly under the weather from traveling from Hawaii to Copenhagen. My cappuccino was excellent as well. Sundays they offer a special brunch menu where you select your entrees and side and it comes as a set meal. We came in early during a weekday morning and it was empty. But as we were leaving the place started getting very busy. Customer service was pleasant enough and our order came out quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed eating here so much that we came back twice during our trip to Copenhagen. If I ever find myself back in this city I will definitely be returning.

In the short time that we were visiting Denmark, we visited Wulff og Konstali Food Shop twice! It's got a cozy ambiance, the cutest décors, and your seating options are either indoors at a long, communal table, or outdoors at picnic tables. The ordering process at Wulff og Konstali can be a bit overwhelming/confusing as there are no signage with instructions. After talking with some of the people already in line, we figured out what we needed to do: grab a table, pick up a Brunch sheet, fill it out, hop back into line, pay, and (not-so-patiently) wait for your food. The first time we visited was on a Wednesday, we stayed indoors, and we ordered two Brunches (one 5 pcs, one 7pcs). Together, we got to try 12 dishes: the Almond Croissant, the Danish Style Poppy Seed Croissant, 2 Fried Eggs, the Scrambled Eggs, the 1/2 Avocado with Sesame Seeds and Olive Oil, the Tomatoes with Olive Oil and Oregano, the Fruits of the Day, the Høost Organic Danish Cheese with Honey and Roasted Almonds, the Skyr (Organic Icelandic Yogurt) with Sea Buckthorn and Honey Roasted Spelt Flakes, the Fennel Salami with Pickled Fennel, the Smoked Salmon with Artichoke Cream and Dill, and the Vanilla Waffle with Salt Caramel and Freezedried Raspberries. Everything we ordered from the Brunch Menu was finger-licking-delicious. The 1/2 Avocado with Sesame Seeds and Olive Oil was smothered in sea salt and it was a little too salty for me. The Vanilla Waffle with Salt Caramel and Freezedried Raspberries erred on the sweeter side and we couldn't finish it. I'd skip over the Fruits of the Day. My favorites were the Danish Style Poppy Seed Croissant and the Smoked Salmon with Artichoke Cream and Dill. The second time we came back, we were experts on what to do--we came on a Friday, and we opted to enjoy our food outside and bask in the sun. We ordered one Danish Style Poppy Seed Croissant and one coffee. Both were delicious and I made it a point to save half of the pastry for our flight home. If I ever find myself in Copenhagen again, I know I'd be back at Wulff og Konstali in a heartbeat!

I stood there for a few minutes and didn't understand why several others who came after me got served first. This is a Copenhagen bakery chain, but I like this location because it has a beautiful view of the canal-lined houses of Christianshavn. I didn't find too many desserts here, but got a ham and cheese sandwich. It was simple, but very good. The ham and cheese were flavorful together, and the creamy Dijon mustard was especially delicious. I do wish there is an option to toast the sandwich, but it was pretty good cold too.

She made an alternate suggestion, nuts and vanilla cream Danish. I also wanted the Xmas tree marshmallow treat again. She placed it in a small box as to not have it crushed. Wow! A small kind way of packing it as opposed to how København H( Central Station) placed it in a paper bag. The store is bigger than other locations. It was busy however the staff did a great job in staying sweet, calm and line was organized beautifully. Thank you! Great experience and delicious treat!

"Everything you look at can become a fairy tale and you can get a fairy tale from everything you…read moretouch." - Hans Christian Andersen Hej! Absolutely the most delicious Brød I had in Denmark! And trust me, I'm not being vulgar or sexist lol! If you're not fluent in Danish... Brød simply means bread. Ya! It's more than just bread! Bageriet Brød is located in the Vesterbro neighborhood of København and popular with the local Danes, so you pretty much know it's legit. I planned to bike over one early morning, but since WiFi was non-existent on the streets I couldn't unlock a bike, so did it the old fashioned way and walked about six blocks. Not the worse thing since I planned on carbing up! It's in an old neighborhood lined with boutiques and cafes, most still closed that early. Bageriet Brød is open! Yasss! I enter to Danes ordering morning Brød, coffee, etc. It gives me just enough time to peruse the menu in.. Danish! Lol! No worries since I do speak a little French, Spanish and English which does nothing here lol. Honestly most Danes in København speak perfect English, so no worries, mon. Order away... There's really no line, per se, but Danes are honest, never in a rush, the line is by honor system, so even tho two people slid ahead of me, when it was my turn, everyone turned my way lol. So I ordered the Morning Cinnamon Bun, Almond Croissant, Latté. The young Danish lady making my Latté was polite and spoke perfect English. Definitely easy on the eyes, but hey what's my verdict? I'll tell ya once I cross the street and find a bench. I decide to eat the Morning Cinnamon Bun first! Oh my! Each bite literally melted in my mouth! Crisp exterior with soft interior. So delicious! The Latté on point! Maybe not the best I've had, but I think the cute Dane who mix'd it - certainly convinced me it was the best! :D I decided to eat the Almond Croissant later, which ended being as soon as I got back to my hotel! And it was as amazing as the Bun I had earlier! Just Wow! After reading the reviews on Yelp & Google I knew my wants! :D Denmark still uses the native Dansk Krone currency rather than the Euro, fortunately, most businesses, will gladly accept your credit card. I also reached out to Rachel, former San Francisco Yelper, and now expat living in København that informed me of the Bageriet Brød and iconic Tartin Bakery connection. It all made sense after the fact! If you're unfamiliar with Tartin in San Francisco it is a pilgrimage for lovers of baked goods! Story goes that the owner of Tartin influenced Bageriet Brød to the point that they have some of his secret recipes! I've had Tartin before and I admit the quality is very familiar! What a small loving world we live in, huh?! In the end, I highly recommend Bageriet Brød in København! Amazing baked goods that will knock your Ecco's off! Just remember to bring your CC unless you be carrying Dansk Krone on ya! Jeg elsker også dig! And yes, I believe in fairy tales... :)
