Tons of new and used CDs, tons of used DVDs, used VHS, cassettes, collectible box sets and more. The only downside (for me) is there isn't that much vinyl. It's called Kangaroo CDs and Tapes so they do deliver what they claim in their name. They do offer special orders they can get anything available, there just isn't that much vinyl to browse. I'd totally suggest checking out the store because there is lots of great stuff and it's run by some good people! Plus any store that's still selling psychical media of music should be supported!!!

It has a particularly good selection of new and used rock records, as well as a nice selection of jazz. Round Again has been in business since 1979 and has outlasted all other Providence record stores from that era, all under one owner who, as far as I can tell, is also the only employee. I've bought tons of records there over the years that remain prized parts of my collection, and I almost never leave empty-handed. For those complaining about the owner's temperament: get a grip. No, he is not Mr. Congeniality. But he is knowledgeable and extremely fair. If you want to sell, he will give the highest payouts in the area, in my experience; if you want to buy, his prices tend to be lower than anywhere in the area. I've had many conversations with him; he's a very interesting person with a lot of great stories who is not afraid to voice his opinion. I enjoy talking to him. There are many other record stores in the area that I like as well, but Round Again has survived and thrived for over 45 years for a reason. Shopping at Round Again feels exactly like shopping at a used record store in the 80s. I'm grateful I can still get that experience somewhere.

It is a smaller bookstore, but it has a lot of popular books available and a great selection of used books. There is an entire section of used books marked at a great price. I loved all the natural lighting that spilled into the space. While I didn't end up interacting with anyone who worked there, it felt like the staff was ready to answer any questions based on an interaction I saw with a cashier and another customer. Falling for the trend, I had to get my hands on my own Labubu! Labubu is a small monster with high, pointed ears and serrated teeth. Despite a mischievous look, Labubu is kind-hearted and always wants to help. Aren't they so cute? I hurried over to Newbury Comics and they had THE MONSTERS - Have a Seat Vinyl Plush Blind Box, THE MONSTERS - Exciting Macaron Vinyl Face Blind Box, The Monsters Coca-Cola Series Figures Blind Box, and The Monsters Lazy Yoga Series Blind Box behind the checkout counter. There is a limit of purchasing 3 of each type and no holds. A few hours later, I saw an update on the post that Have a Seat and Exciting Macaron Blind Box were sold out. I am so glad Newbury Comics carries these blind boxes and even have a whole Pop Mart section. I've also purchased hippers. Hippers are adorable decorative mini figures come with adhesive tape to stick onto your laptop, desk, phone, bookshelf, and more. I've stuck them on my monitor and my desk organizer. This is the perfect place to host a book signing or an open mic and intimate in the best way....cozy, but not crowded. The coffee and bar spirit selection were excellent, but I opted for a mocktail and was not disappointed I can't wait to come back and definitely want to go for one of their summer film nights in the courtyard.
