That's also, for what it is worth, been my experience at Music City Buffalo. I went in there originally for voice and guitar lessons after getting frustrated with my lack of progress on my own. The lessons--particularly voice lessons with Carina, store owner Vince Mastrantonio's partner--were helpful, and built a relationship that made me trust them enough to buy instruments (people in the business can be kind of shady, and so this is important to me). Vince will work with you (within reason, of course) on prices, and I've now picked up three guitars from MCB. (If you are a Gretsch fan, there is hardly a reason to go anyplace else.) I've also had my upright bass set up there, picked up a used amp, have another guitar repair planned, and will be back for guitar lessons with Vince--an accomplished guitarist himself, which is always a bonus in a teacher--likely this summer. I've always been happy with the turnover, the pricing on purchases and repairs, and the quality of the work. We've also taken to seeing their three-piece jazz-noir band, Carina and the Six-string Preacher, around town. They're cool people who like engaging with the crowd, and I think that's a good way to sum up Music City Buffalo as well.

She has had an awesome guitar teacher who has always collaborated with her on what songs she would like to figure out and learn. We have nothing but praise for the staff at Performing Arts. They offer so many lessons, from guitar, piano, drums, and vocal lessons. They have extra things like rock band that the kids can be a part of also. But they don't only offer lessons to children they offer lessons to adults too!
