Not to be confused with the Sitar Center which mostly sells Indian instruments, or the Bitcoin Center which deals in Kryptonite Currency, that which only Superman can't use. As my Guitar Center gently weeps, I find myself writing a negative review for this place. Guitar Center will always be a little too expensive which it didn't used to be. Some of the employees here are really nice, but when it comes to return policies I'm not a fan. I'm aware that musicians probably take advantage of returns or maybe are shady a lot more than your average customer of another type of store does, but that just meant that when I was not trying to be shady and had genuine problems with my equipment I ran into major problems and restocking fees that just made me wonder why I bought it from here in the first place. And why do they make the restocking fees seem nonexistent or unimportant or avoidable until you actually need to return something. Shady AF.

I purchased an Ibanez RGTHRG2 HR Giger electric guitar from this location, and found the sales representatives to be very professional and knowledgeable. That said, it helps to know exactly what you want going in. All Giger models are extremely tough to come by, so I was very surprised to actually discover this location had one available. I did see some really cool Gibson guitars and other vintage models, but had my heart set on this one.

Poor customer service! After I waited 40 mins. I wanted to sell this pdp kit! And the store owner Mary offered me 120 dollars for a pdp satin kit 5 peice, saying the kit was in poor condition! Also the kit was full I've eveans g2s too and bottom. Mead on bass drum! You be the judge.

Mark the guitar instructor is great. Gives my son a lot of positive attention. He can really connect with his students. Kudos to him.

The people who work at Guitar Center are knowledgeable and helpful. Their inventory is large. I'll go back reminded me of Radio Shack

I've been doing business with this place since the mid 90s and they've never done me wrong. I…read morehighly recommend them Zakk Wylde even come out and play in front of the store every now and again so it's a win win win. And they also give you a case every time you buy a guitar because every guitar comes with the case, they give it to you in the original case unlike other music stores that we all know such as Sweetwater, Guitar Center, American music supply or AMS none of them in the original case you have to buy it for extra $200-$300. At TME they give you a case whatever Guitar you buy I've never left that store without a case. A hardshell case at that not a gig bag. But a real hardshell case that you could stand on all the guitars in it, and it will not hurt the Guitar. I even had one fall out the back of a truck and hit the ground pretty hard in the hard showcase and they were both fine. All three were fine 73 Gibson and less Paul 1998 seven string Ibanez RGS/RGA?? 7 7120 something like that. it was black with a Floyd rose. I don't remember what kind of pick up cause back man seven strings had just come out not many people knew how to plan now they're just as easy if not easier to play in a sixth string because everything's based on seven patterns and the strings of positions and fingering on each string and on and on and on, I think if you learn guitar theory with a seven string, you wear your ass fit a lot faster than having to see the seven string feeding pattern and the fingering positions just to get a seven string so you don't have to skip that seventh repeating pattern you just play it also you get a full three octaves instead of two octaves and 4 notes so basically anywhere from 17 to 19 notes Max. On a seven string you can complete the whole fingering pattern in each three note for string pattern and you played 3 office and your notice that if there are a much shorter space on the six string it will go from like 5th fret to 7 or eight, possibly nine

Steamboat Amps - Couple of guitar repairs

Steamboat Amps

Oak Forest/Garden Oaks

This maybe the wrong location to post a review for the service I received on guitar work at…read moreelectric music company Rio Grande pick ups / Steamboat amps / Robin guitars . I usually do not do reviews maybe 3 total and all positive and with gracious accolades of of a job well done . So sadly I must vent my frustration with the recent work I had done on my Bass . I have a Luthier that I currently use for my work . He is the one who told me about the Muy Grande Pick ups . I researched and liked the reviews . Went to the shop on T.C. Jester to initially purchase pick ups and electronics to up grade my Bass , and told them who sent me and who I wanted to do the work . Brayden told me the Pickups could be bought but not the electronics that if I wanted the total package they would need to do the work . I agreed He told me they would have to build the pick ups and it would take about a week . A week later they called and said the pick ups were ready and did I want them to do the install . I stated that that was the agreement we made when I left my bass . I took the bass to show them so as to fitment problems were to arise they would know before hand , I told them to do the work . I called minutes later and asked how much longer I would have to wait and he said they were currently working on the bass now . About 30 minutes later he called and said it was ready for pick up / I explained I was approximately 70 miles from him and would pick up the next week this day being Friday . I had my cousin pick up the Bass the next week to save me a drive because he is very close to their business we met at a playing gig and he brought my Bass. I also had a new pick guard installed . Looks beautiful now . To start with the Guitar was not tuned after work performed which surprised me then I noticed the pick up installation the front pick up is angled with a dip towards the neck and the bridge side up the back pick up is the same way . I would describe this install very shoddy and just hastily thrown together . My thought was that perhaps my guitar Being a Fender Squire was not of the caliber to warrant a first class job from the installer . I have modded this Guitar with a Fender Highmass bridge and Gotoh Tuners and LaBella 760 FS Flatwounds and the pick ups and electronics were the final piece of my set up . The pickups are amazing and cannot be more happy with the range and tone spectrum up and down the neck the articulations of each note is superb I am happy I listened to my Guitar tech and Purchased them and now it is going to him to correct the botched install so my review is up and down / great product well worth the money spent but as far as going back to these guys never again . So I thought all the details were worked out and an agreement was made and trusted this shop was going to provide me with an install worthy of their product , didn't happen . So just make sure you know what your getting when you go there . I have read many of the positive reviews and I do not doubt them one bit , but for some reason my encounter fell short of the mark and I was amazed it went out the door like it was if their reputation was behind it . Wish everyone the best , cool vibes and great music make up for the disappointment . Do something to make yourself happy today , I might add I am a 75 year old man who has done a thing or 2 in my time and I am willing to pay the price but I damn sure want to get what I pay for and this did not measure up
