There are 2 boat launch areas, one lane on each. The original launch area is near the main parking lot, has a long and steep launch slip. Obviously older than the new one but it is still very useable. The new launch area is to the left of the original and almost under the bridge and has a shallower incline compared to the original and plenty of room to park vehicle with trailer. Much easier to launch a canoe/kayak on the new launch area. Park has plenty of public restrooms and the area is very clean and well maintained. So get out and stretch your legs a while and enjoy the beautiful public space along the White River.

His knowledge and expertise shined through, even with the morning river fog, impressive. Water and soda were provided during our fishing charter service. At the end, they do clean what you catch and even offered to cook a couple of our trout for a fee, but it's so worth it. Eating it fresh from the river with a little bit of butter and seasoning, wrapped in foil and cooked over hot coals. Delicious! David who is the owner has outstanding customer service skills. He's a great host who provided everything we needed, attention to detail. David and his staff is the reason we will be returning. We plan to make it a yearly ritual. Jenkins Fishing Service is the way to go and it's located in a beautiful small historic town. The only regret I have is waiting 2 years to finally do it. A wind brings a shower of the fall foliage, and a reminder that nothing is permanent. My mid-fall dreams are full of this water, and the sound it makes meandering along it's path to the eternal. I see a beautiful rainbow trout raising to the bait. The inevitable splash and taking of the line. The curl of my fly rod as I set the hook and the battle is on. Sadly, that was not to be this day (but I have caught many here before). Any time on the Little Red is time well spent. Book in hand, I relax on the rocky shore.
