Our family spent about four wonderful years at Fairmont Anaheim Hills, and even after moving on to…read moreanother school, we've stayed in touch with Tobin Bechtel, the Head of School. Tobin is a genuinely kind and thoughtful leader who runs the school with heart, a strong sense of community, and a continuous drive to improve wherever he can. We look back on our time there with great memories. If you're in the area and considering schools for your child, we highly recommend Fairmont Anaheim Hills. Your kids will learn, grow, and most importantly, be surrounded by a truly supportive environment and some amazing people.

Fairmont Private Schools Anaheim Hills has been an exceptional experience for our entire family…read more It's truly laid a strong foundation--both academically and socially--for all three of our children. From our very first campus tour, we were struck by the warm and welcoming environment. Jennie, the admissions director, was incredibly professional and thorough. She took the time to walk us through the campus, explain the school's philosophy, conduct a thoughtful assessment of our child, and patiently answer all of our questions. Compared to other schools we toured, Fairmont stood out as organized and personal. We left feeling confident that this would be the right fit for our son. Our oldest child enrolled in the summer program at 3.5 years old. The transition from daycare couldn't have gone more smoothly. While he initially missed his old friends, he was enthusiastic about the wide variety of engaging activities Fairmont offered. By the end of the summer, he was already familiar with the staff, teachers, and layout of the campus, which made starting the school year a breeze. His teacher that fall was kind, nurturing , and invested in his development--academically, emotionally, and socially. As parents, we had complete peace of mind leaving him in her care. Our oldest thrived at Fairmont, which is why enrolling our other two children felt like a natural choice. This past year, they completed 3rd grade, 1st grade, and Pre-K, and each of them has had a fantastic experience. Our children are not only excelling academically but have also built meaningful friendships and grown as individuals. There are so many aspects of the school that we truly value. The smaller class sizes ensure that each child receives the attention and support they need. The curriculum is rigorous yet engaging, and students are well-prepared for the next academic year--often working a full year ahead of public school standards. For those who need a little extra help, resources and support are readily available. Most importantly, we're so grateful for the incredible teachers--each one has shown genuine care for our children and a true dedication to their growth and well-being. We wholeheartedly recommend Fairmont to any family considering a private school experience.

Two words: GREAT SCHOOL!....have fully read d other reviews for this school n honestly its sad to…read moreread what parents or family members have to say....I'm sure it was ntt that negative! ....my daughter has been attending this school since kindergarten, now 6th grader :/ I have only good things to say....my daughter is now in d gate program n her test scores have gone up drastically, I've been able to go to almost all her field trips, supervision its there at all times ( I know because I do my walk through once in a while ), my daughter has never complain about rude teachers n principals, all the teachers/aids/office personnel have been great all these years....principal is great too ( he participates on every event d school has, even if he has to shoot some hoops with d children), our back to school nights n open house r great here,.... About d other reviews, dont know what they r talking about, the website its updated, n you can see everything that is going on...school also sends out a monthly bulletin with all that will go on for the month! Unfortunately, there r parents that don't make time to find out what's going on. I would ntt wait to see when I will b getting a respond. ..as a parent, you need to go check it out, joind pta n care about your child's daily curriculum. Stoddard is a great school n has great teachers!

His speech is delay makes him more vulnerable, why other kids take advantage of him. And instead of taking the situation seriously and showing concern for his safety and well-being, the response from administration felt dismissive and unprofessional. As a parent, it is heartbreaking to see your child afraid to return to school because he no longer feels safe in his classroom. No family should feel ignored when reporting repeated issues involving their child. Schools should create a safe, supportive environment for students, especially young children. I hope the administration takes bullying concerns more seriously in the future and improves communication and accountability with parents.

This is based on my experience of the school as a nearby resident. My review is mostly neutral…read moreleaning towards negative, hence 2 stars. CHILDREN: First of all, when school gets out it's very clear that this is a Hispanic only elementary school. I've lived here for 4 years and I've never seen a non-Hispanic student in the crosswalk or around the neighborhood after school. This could be good or bad, depending. I assume it's bad. If you have a child of any other ethnicity living in this area you'll have to find a different, likely farther, school to send them to. It goes without saying this is a massive hassle for working parents. OTHER DRIVERS: It's a small street and there are always cars parked on both curbs. Add that on to the fact that parents are dropping off and picking up kids at the same times when teachers are coming to or leaving from work. The traffic is absolutely insane. After 7am I've had to wait at the light on North for 3 cycles. Either leave early or plan to be insanely late. When the teachers are leaving they force their way out even when they don't have the right of way, so really watch for them. They're trying to cause a lawsuit. CROSSING GUARDS: These guys are assholes. Seriously. They hold traffic until everyone is completely across *then* exit the crosswalk. First of all it doesn't matter if they're past the halfway point because they're out of range of the turning lane. Secondly, I swear these guys have serious control issues. There's one old guy who intentionally walks back as slowly as possible. Once a few years ago I turned when the kids were going the opposite direction and literally a few feet from the curb. This guy runs up to me shouting that I stop waving his sign at me (kids finished crossing in the time it took for him to run up). I revved my engine so he'd back off and took off when he was clear. It was so unnecessary and pointlessly wasted energy. But yeah, the crossing guards here are dicks. POLICE: More like the lack thereof. Public schools are supposed to have police patrolling the area once in a while, but I almost never see them. I leave right around or just before the kids start arriving and I've honestly only seen them 2 or 3 times since I've lived here. It's more than a little depressing. Of course the result is that people speed through the traffic fairly often. GROUNDS: From the street the school grounds look decent enough. A bit dated. Playsets may not be up to code. But that's every elementary school ever. I live close enough I can hear the various drills they do throughout the year. For some reason they don't use different alarms for fire drills vs. earthquake drills. Maybe not my business; just something I noticed. That's my 2 cents. Best advice: don't drive near here. Take La Palma and go the scenic route. You won't regret the 3 1/2 minutes it adds to the trip.

My children love the school and the teachers and have made many friends within the very few years they've been here. The school has been newly remodeled a year or so ago but it still has an above average rating in the school rankings so not sure what to think of it. At least the school and community are moving in the right direction.
