This is really a 4.5-star review but since I gave 4 stars for the previous job I think it makes…read moresense to round up to 5 this time. I hired Franca this fall to paint the exterior of my house, and remove a significant amount of rotted trim and replace it with PVC. I was very pleasantly surprised by how quickly they were able to get me on their schedule, and they wrapped up the whole project in a little over a week. They were conscientious about removing rotted trim (including from areas I couldn't see well from the ground and so didn't point out to them), the house looks great, and the price was very competitive. Steve, who set up the contract, was very responsive throughout; the crew were professional, careful about cleanup, and showed up on time. The only flaws were (1) initially they replaced some of the trim with softwood instead of PVC, but when I noticed it and asked them to fix it, and contacted Steve to confirm, they did fix it (and didn't charge me for the fix), (2) they were a bit aggressive about chopping limbs off some of my small trees to get the ladders into place - that said, this may have been unavoidable (the yard is small and quite densely planted).

Had my deck replaced by Franca Services in the fall of 2023. Had them use Trex which is not…read moresupposed to split, crack or warp. Franca files the warranty with Trex which is a 35 year warranty. We have several cracks and splits in the railings. Tried contacting Franca Services since May 2025 to see about the warranty and get the railings replaced. They do not return my phones calls and filed a complaint with the better business bureau, Franca did not reply to the BBB. Got a text from someone at Franca asked me to text them photos and they would get back to me. Needless to say 4 months later still have not gotten my railings replaced. Now filing a complaint with the Attorney general office.

That decision turned out to be one of the best moves I've made so far. The experience started with their on-site consultation (BD) which was extremely thorough. The rep carefully documented every single one of my needs/preferences and quickly turned around a draft 3D rendering of the proposed siding, which allowed me to visualize the project and modify things that didn't quite suit the house, etc. Later the rendering served as an invaluable reference for tracking progress towards accurate installation of the siding and trim. Once we launched the project, the team started a group chat, including the entire core team (BD, project manager, and the owner), so everyone was always in the loop on the project at all times. If I had *any* questions, they responded immediately, even on the weekend. In my experience, this level of transparency and accessibility is unheard of in construction projects like this. The owner, Yuk, is absolutely outstanding, a paragon of business owner excellence who clearly values client satisfaction. Definitely want to comment on the actual site team, who produced very high quality work, and were super courteous and friendly (which is especially appreciated when you have neighbors who have to live through a construction project this big). I was impressed with the back office team as well, who was consistent in their communication and always friendly and accommodating. If you hire this company, you will not be disappointed. I contacted Advanced Roofing and Siding and the owner responded immediately. After seeing our foundation, he explained why the siding can't be extended, but he took the time to present me with other options we could try to fix the problem, none of which his company would be able to do, but he helped me anyway. It's rare to find companies that won't sell you something even if it isn't in your best interest. While I can't use this company now, I will certainly remember the assistance and use them in the future if we need services they offer.
