Eeekkkk Feel bad leaving this review but this was the worst…read morefood/dining experience I have had in a LONG LONG time. Even my kids thought it was terrible and they are not that picky. We started with nachos and cheese and the nacho chips were stale. I had to send my main dish back bc the chicken was clearly undercooked - very pink inside and even the waitress apologized as soon as she saw it when she came over to our table. Salad was cheap iceberg lettuce and kids meals were also very bad. We all left still hungry and had to go find food elsewhere. Huge waste of money and disappointment for last night in Ibiza. The only positive thing about it was the waitress was extremely friendly and nice and excellent service from her. There are so many great restaurants in town - sadly would not recommend this one.

Especially the watermelon one. Service was reasonably fast and our bill split between 6 was not bad at all. I ordered the calamari to split between a friend & I & though, they were different then what I'm used to it was good. Ordered the grilled salmon with fries and boy, that salmon was so tasty. Especially the top layer where the salmon was actually grilled. I would recommend this spot if you're near the beach. Again, I want to say how great the waitress was!

We were immediately greeted and seated as soon as we arrived. We were lucky enough to grab 2 tables on the sidewalk. Our waiter Tomas was such a joy to interact with! He was able to answer all of our questions about the tapas and drinks. Now about the drinks... best I've had in Ibiza. I had a Pornstar Margarita & a Zombie. ALL of the food was good with my favorites being the Croquettes*zucchini & cheese* and the Duck Confit. Service was fast, food came out piping hot & the curbside vibe is exactly what I wanted. Very clean restaurant, beautiful setup like any other café, but is full of Spanish cultures and is the perfect storm for a wonderful time! The food was sooo good, we got a meat plate with potatoes underneath the meat! The meat was cooked to perfection with a light salty marinade! It was simple but so delicious- best restaurant on our 8 day trip to Barcelona and Ibiza! Not too pricey, we received a lot of food for a wonderful price! Sit at the bar and meet the owners, Juan runs it and he is quite the guy! It was awesome to talk and get to know him. Also the first European spot we found with stouts! My husband and I were trying to find some good places to dine while we were in Ibiza, but we were there from Sat-Mon. And I don't know if you're familiar with Spain yet, but they pretty much shut everything down on Sundays & Mondays. Monday afternoon, we had just finished climbing the castle and looking out at the views. We walked into town and I remembered seeing the reviews for this gem of a restaurant. We walked in around 3:45pm on a Monday. I was sure they'd either be closed or closing, but to our surprise, they were open and very welcoming! We were the only people in there besides one person in the front on their computer. We sat in the back, outdoor space. It was lovely and peaceful, and we were so tired. The food came out immediately after we ordered and it had a stunning presentation, but the taste was even more stunning! I'm from NYC, we eat out a lot and we know good food. We're picky, new restaurants open and close every day in NYC. Mar a Vila should be in NYC!! Or at least they should open a location there or in Brooklyn. They definitely need to open more locations somewhere. This food is too good to be kept on such a tiny island, away from so many people! Well, at the end of our meal, Patricia, cleared our plates and then just let us sit. She never made us feel like we needed to leave. It was very nice and a great way to revive after a long, adventurous day. Patricia & Pablo, you have an amazing restaurant! I hope I can come back to Ibiza and experience it more.
