We were waiting for a table for about 10 minutes, since nobody sat us we had sat ourselves. Once we sat down, no server greeted us for about 15 minutes so we had to get up to ask for service. A server finally came to us and got our order but once we received our food nobody came to check in on us for refills or check us out once we were done eating. We once again had to ask for someone to get our check. The food was okay, but it wasn't anything special. With this service & food, we would have been better off buying our own groceries and making it in our air BnB. Save your money, don't come here. read more

Our group had charted a boat for day out and like usual I like to be organised we arrived nearly three hours early for our trip. Less than a minutes walk we came across Mar y sol, what looked like cafe/ bar/ restaurant type place. We only ordered hot drinks that day so cannot comment on the lunches, but the food that l did see at the counter area waiting to be taken out by the server did look good. We did come back another night and had pizza, that was very good & tasty. The drinks and food on offer did feel value for money. A good plus here is that behind this place there is a market in the summer months and a lot of souvenir shops very close nearby that sell better quality items. Great meeting place near the main road into Ibiza town and the old port (and right next to the old town). The strawberry daiquiris are a favourite - served in a huge goldfish bowl glass and full of real strawberrys. Best fruit daiquiris on the island (I've probably tried over 30 places...) read more

I would not recommend this place. To begin, service was extremely slow and we had to scavenge other tables for menus. Randomly walked in and had not only the best espresso in all of ibiza but probably some of the best I've ever had in my life. I say this based on taste, but keep in mind that it's effect is VERY strong. I'd come back each time I'm in the area for this espresso but must note that the staff is really laid back and accommodating (which I'm not used to at places catered to tourists). After serving the coffee, the bartender asked if I was hungry. I told him that I was but nothing on the menu that I liked. Told him I'd have some fruit but not as a smoothie like they were selling. I was expecting him to look at me like I'm an alien, but instead he walked away and came back w some fruits. Hot dude with brain activity. Thank you you saved me.
