    Rocky Horror "Virgin"
    Veronica B.

Only at a Rocky Horror Picture Show can you bust out a friend for being a "virgin" and have a man dressed in fish nets, heels and a corset take red lipstick and draw a penis with testicles and a giant 'V' across your friend's face and forehead. I love how retro this theatre is. Yes, its a bit run down but it adds to its authenticity. Check it out on the first and third Saturday of every month for a campy good time.

Although it's a very old building, it's super clean!! The staff are very friendly and the theater was pretty empty when I got in. The interior design is vintage and antique. I felt like I was inside one of the romantic movie sets haha. It was an awesome experience and I'll definitely be back!

After passing this Theather every day on my way home I finally decided to go and watch my first film on my own. This place is quite small so the intimate setting helped me feel comfortable on my own. I believe there is only one room to view the films they show but the room itself is not that small but not too big. Watched Lady Bird and enjoyed it very much. I plan on visiting more often (:

The Guild in Menlo Park needs a complete remodel. The tickets are not any cheaper than other theaters but the facilities are shameful!

My SIL couldn't drink it all so she wanted to share it with me. I was able to get a small water cup with ice so I could have some. That's all I needed because it was too sweet for me. Chilled Dasani waters are $5.50 for a small bottle & $6.50 for a large. There's even a Food Mobile Ordering system and pickup area which makes it very convenient. We were able to get to our seats afterwards during the previews which lasted 27 minutes. Leather cushioned reclining seats were really comfortable & reclined far. It even has a heated seat button with a hot setting & warm setting!! These are the best!! It warmed my lower back & was really soothing! I had to turn it off a couple of times as it was getting too warm for me. I brought my sweatshirt hoodie but never had to use it. Usually theaters crank up the AC but they didn't hear even though it was 89° outside. I think the guy next to me fell asleep cos on one of the scenes he sat up & shook himself as he woke up, LOL! The seats are THAT comfy. After the movie we used the restrooms which are plentiful. We were looking for the Parking Ticket validation machine so we asked the ticket attendant down the escalators. He said it was in a grey box by the top of the escalators. First 4 hours are validated so I inserted my ticket in the machine. Instructions aren't very clear, just says something about stamping twice? I inserted my parking ticket & heard a printing noise & left. When we exited the Parking Garage I inserted my ticket & had to pay $5 even though we were under the 4-hours free weekend limit?? Just ask someone how to use that validation ticket machine at the theater before you leave since instructions aren't clear.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The seats were comfortable, but the theater had a musty smell. We were also assigned wheelchair-accessible seats even though we didn't request or need them. The food selection was decent, but once the movie started, concessions were no longer available. The biggest issue was the movie presentation. We watched The Invite starring Seth Rogen, Olivia Wilde, Penélope Cruz, and Edward Norton, but the experience was ruined by repeated buffering and playback glitches. At one point, the movie stopped completely. Since there wasn't anyone actively monitoring the auditorium, staff had to go find someone, which took about 10 minutes, and then bring them back to restart the film. With only two small auditoriums, we expected a smoother operation. Previous reviews gave us hope, but our visit fell well short of expectations. It's especially disappointing because this theater is so convenient for us. As much as we'd like to support independent theaters, we'll likely drive to Mountain View or Redwood City for a more reliable movie-going experience in the future.

The theater is spacious, and the seats are so comfy. We were able to recline in these seats, and pretty much just lie in them as if they were comfortable beds. The staff was also very nice! Parking was a bit hard to find. My boyfriend had to drop me off in front of the theater while he went to go find parking a bit further away. I'm glad Aquarius played Frankenstein. I left the theater awed, and as a fan of the novel, I cannot stop raving about how good the movie is. Thanks Aquarius for choosing to screen it!

After visiting regular century theatres and AMC locations all my life, it was a bit of a different experience when walking in here and I was slightly confused. No one checks tickets -- you just walk in and either purchase tickets at the self serve kiosk OR walk directly to your theatre with your pre purchase tickets. At no point are you greeted or deal with any staff. Our showtime was set for 3:30 and we were allowed in the auditorium 10 minutes prior (3:20) we immediately scanned the QR code and ordered food, we were expecting it to take a long time based on the reviews and were pleasantly surprised with how quick it was. Most items arrived before the movie even started First item out was : Chicken strips + fries (4 cold chewy strips and cold fries) 1/5 stars -- I see why they came out first, they were fried wayyy way before and sitting there. This is the only reason we knocked down a star Btw, none of our food arrived together, everything was 10-15 minutes apart Next arrived the "double pepperoni pizza" 4/5 stars It did not have hot honey or grated Parmesan as advertised but was still super good and I'd recommend! Lastly arrived our buffalo crispy chicken wings + fries 5/5 stars -- worth the wait! These arrived about 15-20 minutes into the movie starting. Nice crispy fresh wings and the French fries in this batch were wayyy better compared to the ones that came out with the tenders. Drinks : $10 bottomless soda (we only got 1 refill so I think the price is insane) $12 bottomless icee (also only 1 refill so a bit insane but if you're able to get more refills out of it, it's worth it) $18 mango margarita , delicioussss it was super good and strong, did its job lol Bathrooms were clean, service was quick, I pressed the service button and someone arrived within 5 minutes and brought our refills quickly as well. Overall please and would return. We came on a Saturday afternoon. Spent $44 in tickets $105 in food. A bit expensive but now a days, everything is.

There is no live online customer support. They have an email and several people have said it's just shouting into the void. I will only know if my tickets exist if my confirmation email scan works. ---- UPDATE ---- Upon entering I tried to find someone to talk to about my purchased ticket. Nobody was at the stand and nobody checked my ticket. We just walked in and took our seats without anyone checking anything. It was the most bizarre experience I've had in a movie theater. I've watched the movie, but honestly I would vastly prefer any other cinema. Food being served is distracting, the seats we were on were quite squeaky when attempting to recline, the bathroom floors were sticky (like caked on cleaning solution that's waxy), and it really DOES smell like wet rags by the entrance. The website they have tied to a QR code (that is supposed to be the menu to order food) could not even function on my iPhone, my brother had to order for us. In general the employees around that we interacted with were nice. I got an email back AFTER the movie ended that my missing order was probably a glitch with the app. And the website is also awful. Just buy your tickets on-site if you're going to watch anything. (This experience was from the beginning of June 2026)

The seats are large, and there's a lot of space between rows, so it doesn't feel claustrophobic like traditional theaters can. I didn't order anything, and most people didn't either, and it wasn't weird. If you need accessible parking, there are multiple spots right outside the door. I went to two different showings: one in a regular theater and one in the Big Show auditorium. I found the sound quality in the regular theater to be a bit tinny, though the subs are nice. However, I do sound for a living, so the average person will feel the sound quality here is way, way better than what they have at home. Be aware that the regular theaters are not Dolby Atmos. The Big Show is indeed Atmos, and it's a cool experience to have sound in all three dimensions. However, the noise floor in the Big Show was a serious problem when I was there. The AC system was loud to my ears. The noise kills the vibe when you're watching something that is supposed to have silent moments. I have no idea why they would put a unit inside the auditorium rather than down the hall with acoustic ductwork. If they'd do something about the loud background noise in the theater, I'd give the place five stars.
