Our loved one was over medicated, aiides reporting incorrect pain levels to nurses (ie patient requesting Tylenol for headache and nurse tried to give narcotic) adding a PRN narcotic with a scheduled narcotic without asking if patient wanted or needed the extra pain medication, motives questionable. Basic expectations of treating patients and family members with dignity and respect not enforced by management.

You can leave as soon as you get up, but then you won't have the stuff that you need. Their heat only seems to be at the proper temperature on certain floors; the main lobby, where we are forced to be if we aren't leaving, is not one of those areas. They give you a small blanket and sheet and expect you to be warm enough. Their food quality and quantity are not enough--restrictive meal times, no lunch, and small portions. Wifi is available, but you're not allowed to use it. The TV is on only for a limited time and only plays the news. There is no real sign of the advertised "enrichment" programs. Instead, the programs that do exist favor select people, creating a tiered or hierarchical system. The south side is for employed residents and comes with more privileges, while the north side is "in the trenches," where residents are exposed to unpredictable and sometimes chaotic situations, including illness and bodily harm. The Night-Shift Problem perfectly illustrates this divide. For a resident working a shift like 10 PM - 7 AM, the standard 7 PM curfew can be waived with "documentation of reason." Once approved, a flag is put in the system to allow re-entry. However, the shelter typically forces these residents to stay on specific "program floors" so they won't be disturbed by the general population's 6:30 AM wake-up call. If you aren't in that specific program or don't have that flag, you're not getting back in. If you want a place to stay, you need to arrive around 9:00 AM. Regulars wake up first and reserve their beds for the day, and then everyone else reserves theirs. Rooms are shared (usually 2 per bunk bed) with a shared bathroom that can be locked from the outside. The shelter's operations are often inefficient. For example, severely intoxicated guests are technically not allowed under the MTM Code of Conduct, yet I've seen them admitted anyway, only to have to be picked up by an ambulance later. This slows down service for everyone else and creates unnecessary risk. Despite the decent rooms, free laundry, and security, the system is designed in a way that makes survival harder than it needs to be.

There is no phones in the rooms they have to be paged and wait to get to a phone call if they are bed ridden.They leave people in bed for hours at a time that can't get out them selfs. They do not have proper equipment it's out dated. Good luck in finding a thermometer or some one to take a temp anywhere. An I'm tired of seeing someone do a great job and others not care feeling in convinced. Residence with family's get treated much better as they have someone to report too. This place has been reported many times to the state I would not recommend sending your love ones here.

Tara is caring and goes above and beyond to help residents and families. The staff are attentive and caring. My mother has lived at Fountain view for about a year and lives being there. She enjoys the activities that Andrea organizes. Gary is very knowledgible and works hard to meet my mother's special dietary needs. Amber is kind and caring. Marcus works hard to keep things running smoothly. My mother has grown fond of many of the wonderful aides that are readily available to help her in so many ways. We don't event use the service but were trapped in the garage because cars were backed up to the street waiting for Valet. Beyond the beauty, it is lacking in every way. The staff are undertrained in providing dementia care and understanding the mind of person struggling with dementia. The management is unprofessional and seemingly unaware (although they've been informed) of the deep issues in care in the dementia wing. In the 36 days my loved one was under the care of Maple Ridge Manor the staff NEVER showered, changed incontinence clothing in morning, or prepared my loved one for bed. ALL care was provided by the family. Doors to the locked unit were often propped open, and the staff in the locked unit were often not present. (Yes, dementia residents were LOCKED in a wing without a caregiver. Yes, this was reported to the state.) Needless to say, the family felt the need to be present most hours of the day to ensure care. Of course, my loved one was moved to a new facility. In one week in the new facility, my loved one has been showered (it's not easy, but it happens), changed both a.m. and p.m., and care for without the help of family. My loved one's anxiety is decreasing and seems calmer. The family is beginning to leave for longer periods of time and trusts that care is happening. Maple Ridge Manor IS NOT the facility to trust with the care and love for your loved one.

I can't say enough good things about the therapy team. My husband arrived after surgery and, thanks to the dedicated physical and occupational therapist, he has made good progress. They push him to improve while staying safe. The staff keeps me updated on his progress. Which I really appreciate. Medilodge also provides a variety of daily actives. A special shout out to Tyronne , who goes above and beyond to ensure safe transportation to medical appointments. This location seems to have it all-multiple basketball, pickle ball courts, track, two pools, all types of classes, equipment and weights of all types. There also seems to be quite a bit of redundancy with the equipment-no matter how busy, you can always find what you need to exercise with. Our membership allows us to use YMCA's all over the United States. Having done this in many other locations, I'm really thankful Mary Free Bed is my "home" YMCA. From equipment variety to cleanliness-Marty Free Bed comes out on top.

Half of my visits I end up having to leave before work I finish workouts. Way too many young women in yoga shorts and pants that are beyond belief. It's not a strip club? Tired of seeing way to much of it. Makes you wonder what they will wear in a year. I like women but I don't understand what is their goals. There is nothing often no staff in work out area. I had my car blocked in and one time asked greeters for help. They all said they had no chance idea what to do. They actually said they need to ask the facility director. Finally the facility director came along. She didn't say hello or introduce her self. I've never seen her in the gym part. She could do her job from another state. She's as friendly as a cornered honey badger. I complained to a Y exec. She said I could guit and I'd not need to pay a fine. It's not a gym for serious workouts or anyone who doesn't like silly fools on cell phones who do a set every 5 to 10 minutes. It's clean and new. Too bad it's not able to stop cell phones. After each set 1 5 to 10 min on Facebook or Amazon trying to buy skimpier pair of shorts. Honestly the place is a sick joke on real workout people
