There are one or two receptionists who are really nice and made me feel better- but it was not enough to make up for the lack of care by the entire office. I came here, because I really enjoyed the doctor and the way she treated me at the ER. I decided to drive to appointments all the way from East Grand Rapids to see this doctor. Unfortunately, because of construction- even leaving early I would not always be able to make it on time. This office says they have a ten minute rule, and both of those times I was at the office within the ten minutes and was forced to reschedule extremely important appointments- even though I called and said I was trying my very best. I understand that being late isn't a good thing, but I followed the rules, tried my best, and was as respectful. My last visit to the office I had sped through traffic and attempted checking in at 11:24 am (my appointment was at 11:15) after calling that I was stuck in construction only to be told this was my third appointment where I had to reschedule and they were dismissing me as a patient. I couldn't even get a minute to talk to someone and was silenced and told to leave when I tried to discuss an important topic (I had recently had to file a police report for stolen medication, and also have very bad asthma that had been flaring up in the summer humidity. It's been rough.) I really did not feel cared about even remotely by the staff. I had sent emails and received short responses to serious questions. It was impossible to communicate, and I received different answers about serious things from all the staff members. I never received any reminder calls. Often I had to go to the Cascade Immediate Care center (which was cheaper....) to get a prescription to one of my inhalers, because this office would not refill without an appointment. They also scheduled an appointment for each issue instead of addressing the concern when needed- which costs a ridiculous amount of money! The worst part is that I received a letter saying the physician and I didn't share "mutual respect." I don't feel that if was a very professional thing to say, and to say someone doesn't respect you or vice versa without any communication is very insulting. My personal experience is that this office is really just trying to make money by rescheduling too many times, and dropping patients. They have awful ways of communicating and show no concern to serious issues. Seriously, just avoid this office.

Instead I got a complete work up with x-rays and much more than I needed. Then I got a big bill which my insurance did not cover. Nothing was discussed with me prior to the procedures. Let me start off By saying not one day have I ever walked in without the staff being the happiest imaginable. They are genuinely good people. They truly do care about there patients from beginning when you walk in to even after you leave. When I started going to novo I had horrible shoulder pain. Saw two other chiropractors prior and no one could figure out what was wrong with me. Within 15 mins of my first visit Dr.Bailey had figured out what my issue was. She came up with a plan and her plan worked amazing. I sit here three months later able to lift 120lb dumbbells when before I could only hit 85 pound dumbbells due to the pain. Words can't describe how happy I am with the help and guidance I received from dr. Bailey and all the staff who assisted and continue to assist along the way. I wouldn't ever consider going anywhere else. I could move an hour away and still would drive here due to the service and success I personally saw from this place.
