The good thing is they provided good therapy sessions and even helped me in classes i wasn't good at. The teachers are almost all welcoming when i went there mrs cloud and mrs reeseman were definitely the top teachers. They go above and beyond to do things for others. Unfortunately the students now aren't the brightest so. I definitely believe this school has a big place in my heart.

My experience at Southern technical College has been horrific so far. Every good instructor that I have had so far in my interior design program has left the school since I have started my degree. I have had two instructors so far that have caused problems within the design program and I have reached out to Mr. Essie for help. He stated that no other students have complained and I explained to him that the students are afraid to complain due to the fact that they are not taken serious so they have given up. Just last week I reached out to Mr. Essie I'm confidence to explain to him that a new instructor he has hired has crossed the line professionally with his words to his students calling me bulimic and another girl large with that being said I do want to state that he was joking but it was still unprofessional. Essies direct response was that he didn't believe he would say that but he would talk to him. I immediately found out that he did talk to this professor and told the professor who said the complaint and the following week the professor announced to the class that it was me who made the complaint. I'm usually not a complainer but the school is extremely expensive and nothing is being done to better these students futures. Southern technical college I urge you to take a trip to your Fort Myers campus and look into all of the complaints and take action to provide your students a better future.

Day after day smoothing out the rough edges of this knucklehead meant the would to me. -Jacob "Pre-Trip King" set me up for success. He's always happy to share a smile -Gary Your stern approach to teaching maneuvers got me serious, but you motivate as well and I truly felt that. -Evan He never instructed me, however the conversations we had gave me so much useful information that I needed to hear. They are wall to wall with the circle k. We went inside n let him signed up. They gave him some documents to fill and information the review before the test. While he went through his papers, there was a CDL class going on in the wait room. I learned what to check on the truck before i even try to operate it. Nice free class for when i am ready to take it. Waiting on my arm, i was going to transfer to truck yard at work before getting sick. It is so entertaining for me being offer free lessons in mechanical engineering or any mech tech stuff. Trucks are fun n dangerous but more fun if you know what your doing. Kid was introduced by his teacher. He checked up on me cuz i was flexing my arm. Gotta keep circulating blood through it or else it gets stiff. Everything was ok just tired. I let them do their class 1 on 1 so I don't make him nervous. Wanted him to have his space. I was entertained by the videos. He came back after a while all excited. Gave em a hell yeah bro highfive. Lol i broke character n thanked the staff for their kindness. After this i offer him to hit the DMV n thats where we went afterwards. Im pretty sure that my company may send me this way to learn the CDL. They have a huge area for their trucks and testing runs. I'd give them a check in the future if i ever decide to part ways with my company. The teach advance classes to n im very interested on those. Truck driving is on the bucket list.

I appreciate the fact that the space is optimized for different uses. In conclusion the building is elegant and has a historic feel. Parking was easy and although I did not explore the entire campus, the Tampa campus is a nice option for Stetson students who live in he Tampa area.

Disclaimer: my criticism is directed entirely towards the dining hall…read more It is incredibly rare that i have a decent experience while dining here. I have fallen victim to food poisoning multiple times, options are slim, and it is very dirty. i once witnessed a worker wiping counter tops off with a dirty rag and then proceeding to wipe the top of a "clean" plate off with the same rag. if you must eat here, don't think too much about where your food comes from. additionally, the menu is brief and repetitive. it is difficult to find a healthy option and if you do, it takes a bit of innovation with the low quality ingredients you are given. the food that is served is insanely greasy and flavors are minimal. with the new dining hall just having opened, i certainly got my hopes up. i was very much let down. if anything, it is worse. the setup is entirely unplanned and inconvenient and while it looks there are more options, do not let that fool you. they omitted the waffle bar (a fan favorite) and they tend to falsely advertise the cereal. they always run out of necessities and fail to replace them. food is either undercooked or incredibly dry. they scam you by forcing you to be a part of the meal plan if you live on campus housing (at least your first year). this must be stopped. food is inedible and you will be spending your money on food elsewhere. we must take a stand against this. who's with me?
