I booked a neck and face lymphatic drainage massage with Shelly last week. When I had arrived for…read morethe facial, I was about 15 minutes early, in case any forms needed signing and to discuss my needs for the service. Shelly seemed to have just arrived, and was frantically setting things up. Once she was ready for me she asked if she could add full body to my massage. I agreed, but told her I wanted her to focus on my face and neck as that's where I was experiencing swelling. She hardly touched my neck and face. She probably spent less than a minute of work there. Prior to us starting, she informed me that her music would not be working and she had a finger fungus. She wore a plastic glove and poked my body the whole time in silence. They make you pay before, otherwise I'd had refused. I noticed no signs of lymphatic drainage after the massage either. With all of this being said, I reached out to the owner, Jamiliah, and she basically told me I was wrong and that I need to speak up. Do not book here!

Her space is in Studio Bliss (a salon) and she makes the space extremely comfortable. She will use CBD on you (for a slight up charge) that can help with inflammation and additional pain relief and it's amazing! She will adjust to making the massage relaxing or more deep tissue depending on what you have going on and I appreciate it so much! She is a gem and so kind, and I cannot imagine using another therapist at this point. The online reservation process is quite easy, but as many great therapists, their schedules book up quickly and I make sure to have an appointment scheduled out for the next month or so. This is basically " cherry picking" the best tippers. I am a member, yet it doesn't seem to matter. You would not be refused service at a restaurant for your tip history, so nor should you at Simply Massage. It seems that maybe the help needs a wage increase as they emphasize tipping, leaving it up to the clients whom already pay $70 to $90/hour for servicing. However, it was also explained that the tip reason for rejection is supported by management, not just one therapist. I am weighing my future relationship with this company.

I was very comfortable the whole time. I haven't been back yet, but my husband and I are both planning to schedule with them in the next couple of weeks. Last time I had a 60 minute massage, but their pricing is so reasonable I plan to try the 90 minute next time. She never asked what pressure I would like nor did she ask if I had any trouble areas. This leaves me thinking there is only one pressure and it is not much. I do not like deep tissue massage but I do like to feel like I am getting an actual massage rather than just having hands barely touching me with WAY TOO MUCH oil. There was probably 10 minutes of the whole massage that actually felt good. I had to ask her to move on twice and it was almost like she then didn't know what to do. I asked her to dig in once and that never happened. There was several points I thought she might almost be almost sleeping. At one point I lifted my head off the table just to check. Maybe she thought I was sleeping so she didn't think she really had to massage. Whatever the case she was clearly just going through the motions. I tried the following day to come to a reasonable resolution to no avail. With so many possibilities for a good and even great massage in the area I do not recommend this establishment or massage therapist.
