I ended up ordering 35 personalized invites on handmade paper with printed vellum tied with a cute bow, 40 personalized candy favor tins, two different shower games (with enough pieces of each for 40) and the whole thing was less than you'd expect and arrived really quickly. The invites in particular were a great deal (I think they worked out to be about $1.59 a piece, with their current coupon) and the quality really impressed me.

I chose Eevy Ivy Over for funeral flowers for a dear friend based on their great reviews. I wish…read moremy experience lived up to that. Living out of state, I called to place the order, saying I liked the look of the "Eevy Ivy Special"and "Colorful Blooms" style arrangements on the website, and I'd like something along those lines that I left up to them, for $100 plus delivery. The website arrangements were $55 and $75, so I expected my arrangement to be similar but a little bigger and better. I said colorful was fine, as my friend was such a joyous person. I expected a professional-looking arrangement. What was delivered was a shadow of the website arrangements, with some color in the center and a ton of spindly greens and queen anne's lace surrounding it that gave vibes of something picked off the side of the road. The photo I have was sent by the delivery driver at my request. I posted it here. A friend who attended the funeral and saw the arrangement in life was also unimpressed, saying it definitely didn't look like $100. I actually wondered if maybe my order was confused somehow since I never received a receipt, bill, or anything, but my credit card statement told the story: They did bill me for a $100 arrangement plus delivery. I called the store owner Becky to discuss it. She was very nice, as were all the employees I spoke with from there. She expressed that the arrangement was large and beautiful, and said two customers in shop commented as much. Perhaps it was large, but with what? The expansive "weedy" look was nothing like the website arrangements I asked for. Becky said it was nowhere in the notes that I referenced them, and that the only notes were, "colorful" and, oddly enough, "sticks," which was definitely a surprise. I actually spend considerable time giving the order, expressing how important it was to me that the flowers were beautiful. Becky said the driver took a bad photo of the arrangement, that didn't showcase its true beauty. In all fairness that may be a factor, but not enough to justify what I got. Just no. She did then say they might have missed the mark on this one, and to be fair, asked how to make it right, offering to send a bouquet to someone else as compensation. I appreciate the offer, but this was for a funeral... a special event that I was unable to attend, and that can't be done over. I regret choosing them for the order.

The warmth that we felt was in large part due to our experience at CJs art studio. Both she and her partner are very talented. It was easy to get lost admiring their work. We had so many questions and perhaps the best part was that our curiosity was welcomed and they shared with us what felt like very personal details behind each of their pieces. It was refreshing to see two people having a lot of fun with the work they do. We do not have any children but the studio was as inviting for young ones as it was for us. Plenty of interactive pieces of art. Although this town is more active in the summer time, we would recommend going when things are more laid back as you will have the opportunity to meet these two brilliant artists !

When I visited the storefront to choose my bed the owner was able to give me accurate prices without hesitation. He was very patient with me--I didn't really know what I was doing since I'd never gone bed shopping before. I was able to call in after the visit to order my bed, no prob. The delivery went smoothly. They called the day before to confirm my delivery time and place. I wasn't expecting a small business in Menom to be this organized, I will admit, although that is a pretty standard thing to do. When the delivery guy came to my house he was alone (his partner was too hungover to come to work--minus one star) but he was able to carry my bed all by himself up the stairs in my house no prob.. We ran into an issue with communication and, despite their rule that all custom items are final sales, they actually redid the bookcase for us in the correct color and even sent us samples of stains to ensure we picked the appropriate color. I wouldn't encourage this; they have the 'all sales final' for a reason. In this particular circumstance, however, there was an issue and they completely rectified it at their own cost. Most companies would have said 'too bad' because we knew the sale was final but they wanted to make it right and that is what separates excellent customer service from average firms. I would say as a tip to avoid this for anyone ordering custom furniture not only to look at their online swatches but perhaps request pictures or send pictures to be very clear about what you are looking for. I will do this next time as I feel bad that they had to remake the shelf. This will save everyone time as well. But my point stands that they made it right and I very much appreciate that.
