Mom loved jewelry with stars on it; she could find cute earrings with stars, necklaces, fun shirts with big ol' glittery stars on it; we love this store. Now she is gone, so I'll say, I love this store! I especially like the Detroit sports themed apparel. You'll find fun shoes, purses, hats, pins and they have an excellent selection of discounted items. Items are priced just right. If you are up for some gaudy, glitzy fun, come on in and explore.

So what's the point in reviewing one, you're asking? We all know what the shoes look like, what their sales entail, what the shop layout will be, etc. And to you, I say, visit this Aldo, and be amazed. I was shoe shopping with my sister the day after Christmas, which is always a (mis)adventure in itself. We were having a heck of a time finding a non-harried salesperson, let alone great shoes (great shoes, are, of course, An Accomplishment and are more rare than a single man in possession of a fortune). So when we weary souls in search of soles stumbled upon this Aldo, we were delighted to find a hip, knowledgeable salesgirl smiling and greeting us. She helped my sister like she was her best friend on this shopping expedition, not an hourly associate desperate to leave the mall and go about her life. My sister found a kindred spirit. I found someone willing to nod approvingly at my sister's outrageous shoe desires, thus saving my sanity. The salesgirl found a willing buyer for some truly ridiculous shoes, and also, some jewelery. All were pleased.
