Several of the work orders had to be fixed due to rookie errors and others were flagged by the home inspector. The owner Lance Barnes disappeared, and was inaccessible for long stretches. Later when asking for payment, Lance threatened to do "demo" in the house unless we paid for the items he didn't finish or flat out lied about doing. A worst case choice for contractor.

JNL Marble & Granite did a BEAUTIFUL job installing our kitchen and half bath quartzite countertops…read moreand tile backsplash. We were referred to JNL marble from All Natural Stone (in Dublin) where we purchased our countertops and backsplash. Every employee we worked with was friendly, nice and respectful. Morgan is organized and easy to communicate with. Joel came out to measure and make the templates and he was fabulous. I was given a date/time that worked well for us and the quote was within our ballpark idea of what it would cost us for installation. The team who installed the countertops worked so hard and efficiently, the tile installers did a perfect install. Our only hiccups were super minor- but they were handled in an efficient no-drama way! We had a couple late arrivals, but I simply called Morgan to find out what was going on, she got back to me right away and gave me their ETA. There was a minor miscommunication about where our tile was, the tile installers got to our house and asked where the tile was, but I thought they had it. Morgan quickly resolved the situation by bringing the tile to our house herself. I highly recommend JNL.

We called them every day for three weeks with no response. We were about to threaten legal action because they had our stone and they just wouldn't answer or return our calls. We were getting desperate. When they finally returned our call and finished the installation, the quality was crap. No communication, no transparency when serious mistakes were made. As a stone cutter you basically have one job: pay attention to detail, which they didn't do. Very disappointed, if we could do it over again we never would have called this company.

I initially contacted…read morehim through Yelp with a lot of questions about replacing our builder countertops and backsplash. He was patient, knowledgeable, and never made me feel rushed. He also recommended several slab yards he works with regularly, and we ended up finding the perfect Perla Santana quartzite at Bedrosian's in Modesto. Jose provided a straightforward flat-rate quote that included demolition, fabrication, countertop installation, and installation of our handmade Zellige tile backsplash. There were no surprises. Throughout the entire project, he kept us informed and was always available to answer questions. He even FaceTimed me during fabrication so I could choose the exact section of the slab for our island, which I really appreciated. From demolition to completion, the entire project took about a week, including fabrication. His crew was professional, respectful of our home, and their attention to detail really shows in the finished product. Our kitchen is absolutely beautiful and truly a dream come true. We are so grateful we found Jose and would recommend Gazcon Marble & Tile without hesitation.

I'll likely turn it into a side table. If you have a remodel that needs stone work, I would seriously give him consideration. Thank you Jose!

After more rain the area leaked again and, on the advice of a gentleman of A-Taylor Made Windows, we hired the independent specialist American Leak Detection, who confirmed the flashing repair was successful and identified the actual source.
