we recently moved to the area and have been searching for a decent deal on Mexican food. We decided…read moreto drive about 25 minutes to this place because of the good reviews. Keep in mind this is a food truck with minimal overhead. We got there with only one other person in front of us. our order was a simple Carne Asada burrito. The young lady taking the order was very nice and pleasant. The price on the menu was $14 for the burrito which was super high in my opinion. When I used my credit card to pay for it, it gave the option for a tip. I only tipped one dollar because it was only a takeout burrito from a food truck. But even with that, no drinks, nothing else, it came out to a total of $18.11 for one burrito. I guess it would be an OK price if it was a gigantic, super delicious burrito, loaded with expensive meat. but it was not. It was probably 60% lettuce and rice. And maybe 10% actual meat. The flavor of the meat, cheese, salsa, tortilla was all pretty good, but that burrito was worth maybe eight dollars at the most. Sadly, our search goes on for a decent Mexican food location in this part of Florida. this place should be ashamed of itself for charging that much money for a burrito of that size and quality. Oh, and the wait to get this burrito was extremely long. Probably like 20 minutes to get one simple burrito with only one guy that was in front of us for a couple minutes when we got there. Nobody behind us either. Crazy.

I had a great experience at Mi Pueblo. The food was absolutely delicious -- I ordered the tacos and…read morepaired them with a classic margarita, and both were fantastic. The tacos were flavorful and fresh, and the margarita was perfectly made. Keily was phenomenal, always very attentive and professional. Kept checking up on us to make sure that we were doing ok. Loved her warm hospitality. Her genuine vibe made us feel welcomed. At points the other young lady Stephanie would ask us how were we doing which showed us her attentive service and overall super friendly caring personality !! ... I do gotta say the service here is thru the roof.. The atmosphere really stood out too. The restaurant had a very festive vibe, and I loved all of the colorful Mexican décor throughout the location. It felt warm, lively, and authentic, making the whole dining experience even better. Definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're looking for great Mexican food and a fun atmosphere!

I don't often leave reviews but, this was officially the worst Mexican that I have ever had and…read moredon't recommend. Where to start..the chips that they bring are cold and thick with an almost slightly burnt flavor. The salsa is similar to something slightly above the jar at the grocery store. Order a chicken chimi and a beef enchilada. The enchilada was like many others but a bit small. The chicken chimi on the other hand was made with extremely dry meat, was overcooked in the fryer, and came with a red sauce instead of the gold standard white cheese sauce that all chimichangas come with. This was questioned as it hit the table and the server said that's how they serve them here. The prices are a touch over 20% higher than nearby competitors as well. After eating at hundreds of Telmex places, I can say without a doubt....go just up the road to Plaza Mexico Marisco's. The food is great there. Serving staff was fine other than missing the obvious cue to bring a proper sauce for a chimichanga.
