we recently moved to the area and have been searching for a decent deal on Mexican food. We decided…read moreto drive about 25 minutes to this place because of the good reviews. Keep in mind this is a food truck with minimal overhead. We got there with only one other person in front of us. our order was a simple Carne Asada burrito. The young lady taking the order was very nice and pleasant. The price on the menu was $14 for the burrito which was super high in my opinion. When I used my credit card to pay for it, it gave the option for a tip. I only tipped one dollar because it was only a takeout burrito from a food truck. But even with that, no drinks, nothing else, it came out to a total of $18.11 for one burrito. I guess it would be an OK price if it was a gigantic, super delicious burrito, loaded with expensive meat. but it was not. It was probably 60% lettuce and rice. And maybe 10% actual meat. The flavor of the meat, cheese, salsa, tortilla was all pretty good, but that burrito was worth maybe eight dollars at the most. Sadly, our search goes on for a decent Mexican food location in this part of Florida. this place should be ashamed of itself for charging that much money for a burrito of that size and quality. Oh, and the wait to get this burrito was extremely long. Probably like 20 minutes to get one simple burrito with only one guy that was in front of us for a couple minutes when we got there. Nobody behind us either. Crazy.

Not cool for a below average burrito. Definitely will not be coming back. It seems to be a running theme in this part of FL, that folks are getting price gouged on just about everything. We did not pay this much for awesome burritos in South Beach Miami, so it is not an entire State of FL thing.

Hidden inside a Shell gas station, you could pass the place by if you aren't careful. The place was packed at 11 am. I ordered three crunchy shredded chicken tacos and a burrito. Seasoned well and made to order, I would definitely go again because the food was filling and flavorful.

Incredibly Disappointing - Terrible Food, Bad Service, & Hidden Fees…read more The Food: A Massive Letdown I ordered a shredded beef burrito, and the meat tasted like boiled, unseasoned, stale beef. Zero flavor. My wife ordered the beef birria tacos, and unfortunately, it was the exact same bad flavor. If you do decide to risk eating here, you better stick to chicken or steak, because the shredded beef is a complete miss. As for the rest of our meal: The Good: My son got the quesadillas and said they were good. The queso dip from the sampler appetizer was also really tasty. The Average: The beans were just okay. The Bad: The guacamole was definitely not fresh. The Service: Non-Existent The service was just as bad as the food. There was only one other couple in the entire restaurant, yet the waitresses seemed annoyed and completely too busy to care. I honestly felt like I was at a self-service fast-food joint rather than a sit-down restaurant. The Ultimate Dealbreaker: Hidden Fees! The absolute worst part came when the bill arrived. If you pay with a credit card, they slap you with an extra 3.5% fee! This is ridiculous, and we were never told about it until it was time to pay. When I brought it up, the lady rudely told me "there is a sign on the wall." You can't even see the sign! I am posting photos with this review just so everyone can see how incredibly small and hidden that sign actually is. Save your money and go somewhere else where they actually season their beef, care about their customers, and don't sneak hidden fees onto your bill.
