House Leveling was needed -- their ad says they do it. Met with estimator - discussed every aspect of the job -- Install sister-beams, jack-up house, install support piers. He called day before to provide team's ETA -- 2 hour window. They were late....their work order did NOT match the scope of work discussed, and of course the original guy could not be reached on the day-of. They finally agreed to DO IT the way the estimator and I designed and then, since I was already late for work, I had to leave. They said it was at most a 2-hour job. When I hadn't heard from them in 4 hours, I went back to the house and they had abandoned ship. AND left all their trash all over my lawn. Should have checked Yelp first. read more

I have not written a negative review of a company yet, but this one deserves it. They charged my 81 year old mother $6k to fix the vapor barrier in her mobile home. They didn't replace the carpet and will not send any photos of the completed work (she is out of town). They will not return phone calls and will not help get this resolved. Buyer beware--looks like they prey on senior citizens and after they get paid don't care. read more

We had part of our kitchen floor replaced on 11/21/23. They put black duct tape over the edges & told us about 1 place that was lower, we said ok. We have not had the chance to put our new flooring in because either work & being sick. We were going to put in the new flooring today so we took of the black duct tape, there is big gaps, a couple places they put no support under the new wood they put in, we are afraid we are going to fall through (that is why we had part of our floor replaced, the wood was rotting). We called all day today & tonight they said they can't get anyone out here for another 8 days. I wish I could post pictures but this won't let me. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Salesman offered "Lifetime Warranty". He says includes what I'll call 'touch up' work if you need under house repairs. It doesn't work that way. They're trying to bill me $1200. Do not trust these people!!! read more

I am extremely happy I hired this company to put in a vapor barrier and level my dad's mobile home. The owner was great about getting back to me when I had questions. They were honorable when I brought up a mistake that was made. They admitted the mistake and corrected the issue promptly. We are all human and make mistakes, it is how we deal with it that shows our character. Guardian Vapor Barrier of Largo, FL treated my dad with kindness and respect. I first called Guardian Vapor Barrier because I needed small areas of my floor under my house repaired after a flood but I was persuaded to spend thousands more so I wouldn't have rats in my house that were coming in after the flood. The salesperson, Danny, guaranteed and convinced me that the vapor barrier would keep the rats out. It didn't work! When I called to ask for the problem fixed, I was talked down to and treated like it was my fault. Shawn, who answers the phone, set up an appointment to send the guys out but they never came. My son-in-law called Guardian Vapor to help me, but they never called back. Living with rats is disgusting! read more

On July 21 I had an estimate from this company to re-level my manufactured home. I decided to go ahead and schedule the work. I needed a Monday because it's my day off so it was scheduled for the following Monday, July 24. 30 minutes later, I received a phone call From the company telling me that they would not be able to come on the 24th that they would be here on the 28th which is today. I took the day off from work without pay to be here for the job. They were supposed to call me yesterday with a time window of their arrival. They never called. I called the company this morning and was told yes, they would be here early afternoon around 12 noon. Then they still hadn't shown up 45 minutes later I sent a text message to Dan S. My sales person. Dan told me they would be here at 1 o'clock. After that several times, I called wondering where the crew was. My phone calls went straight to voicemail, and Dan has stopped answering my text. It is currently 4:51 PM, no one has returned my calls, Dan will not return my calls or texts. I left a voice message with the company telling them I wish to cancel this order because of their failure to show up when scheduled and even more so, their failure to communicate with me. I do not recommend this company. And I will never do business with this company again. I really wish I had read some of these reviews before giving them any money. read more

After hurricane Ian, our manufactured home moved, leaving a noticeable "dip" in our floor when walked on. This company was advertised in our community publication. When the person who estimates the job came out to see what the job would cost, entail etc. he told me that they could use the flooring that we already had, didn't need to purchase more. Seems he did not tell the repair crew this info. When they arrived they asked for the new flooring. After telling them what the rep said, many phone calls were made. That the crew would move all the furniture and put it all back together. He also said that after they leveled the house, the floor would be done within the week. THOUSANDS of dollars later we still need leveling, (actually getting worse) and the workers put noticeable scratches in our flooring. And put a damaged tile smack in the middle of the living room floor. When we brought it to their attention while still laying the tiles down, we were told that we could find an apoxy to fill it in! AND THREE ROWS OF THE FLOOR WERE LEFT UNDONE!!! THEY NVER FINISHED THE JOB!!! Seven phone calls later, with promises of fixing the issue, with THEIR PERSON coming out to see what our complaints were, (he said the leveling was not done correctly,) they still have not fixed the issue, have not returned our calls. Our next step is BBB. Then taking them to court. We would NOT recommend this company for anything, as after they take your money, they will not rectify mistakes, which are many, that they made. When we spoke with the owner, as well as the manager, we were told that they would get back to us ..... HAS NOT HAPPENED. This was in March!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Let me start off by saying the actual work that was done was done well. That's the good. The bad to follow. The estimate was to do my bedroom, restroom, and hallway that covered a 5x5 area of the floor. The man who wrote up the estimate only put restroom and what I got was a 3x3 area of floor replaced in that area. When it was brought to the foreman's attention he said he was only going to do what was on the work order and did not want to do that area. Even went as far to call me a cursing name in Spanish because I told them it was written wrong and it needed to be done. He made no effort to find out if that was the case or do the work. Also, the crawl spaces had been accessed and none of my bricks were put back in place. It was a 20 foot area. Also, when the workers removed my toilet, they broke it causing me an additional expense of $170 that I had to pay on the spot if I wanted the job to be done right and timely. I purchased and delivered the toilet on my own time and in my own vehicle. When I brought up these issues with Will, the GM of the company, he stated that "I should just be happy because they under estimated the job that they would do nothing about it." "The person that did the estimate is no longer with the company." Even went as far as to belittle my home in his defense. Well there was a reason I called out them to fix the floors in the first place, I mean that is what they do for a living. Will offered no apologies for the use of vulger and insulting language towards me. Even solidified his stance by using the under estimated reasoning to justify it being ok to talk to the customer in that way in their own home. If anything the conversation with Will was more insulting. Upon conversation with Will he states that I planned to not pay him. This was pre arranged by a third party, member of the City of Clearwater. Will had no recollection or approval of this arrangement. So he basically called me out as going to stiff him which is not the case at all. In order to make the payment a bill needed to be submitted to the 3rd party and the payment would be issued at that time. Customer service does not exist and they are quick to blame the customer for any of their mistakes along the way. I had to call several times to get a bill to pay them at which time I felt uncomfortable as the guy spoke as if the he was angry at me. read more
