We hired Guardian for some standard plumbing work. As they arrived to help, we shared we had a gas line break and not only did they come fix it the same day, they also replaced our water heater same day too! Everyone was so kind and hard working and most importantly, honest. They didn't ever wanted to over promise and under deliver. We had a gas repair company that basically said sorry we can't come back for a week. Would highly recommend and use them again! read more

I would highly recommend this company. Mike is the best . He was so thorough and explained everything to me. He quoted me one price but found that I didn't need something done so he adjusted the price. He could have just charged me and I wouldn't have known I didn't need the extra. Very honest company and Mikes the best!!! Highly recommend this company!!! read more

I requested for a quote from several different Plumbers. Guardian came in with the lowest quote so naturally I went with them. $900 cheaper than our first quote and a few hundred less than our 3rd quote. Not only was he cheaper but he was able to give us what we wanted. Install outdoor shower with both hot and cold water for after pool use. EJ ( Edward ) was his name. He came out on Friday at 8 am. He was friendly, and professional. Once we agreed on price and project, he was able to complete the job by 8 pm. He helped us understand the importance of the PRV (pressure regulator valve) and we opted to have him replace our 5-6 year old PRV. By 10 pm I was able to get right out of my pool and use the hot water shower adjacent. What an amazing new addition to our home. We have taken cold showers for 25 years!!!! If you have a pool don't delay the hot water experience. It's amazing not having to run through the house freezing cold house. Edward (EJ) is your man. He is efficient, professional and kind and thoughtful. I am so impressed with Guardian Plumbing and will gladly call them for future projects. I highly recommend this company, but I especially encourage you to ask for Edward Adams by name. You will not be disappointed! 5 stars for this amazing company! Thank you EJ. Thank you guardian. read more

I am very fortunate that last year on October 7th, 2022, Robert was the first technician that I got from Guardian Plumbers. After hiring him many times for over a year, he has always been professional, reliable, timely, friendly, honest, thorough, and has always displayed excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. I really appreciate him taking the time to answer all of my questions, and he goes above and beyond to find the best solution to meet my needs. When I am anxious about a job, he is understanding and he takes the time to explain his plan and solution. That is why when Robert is assigned to do a job at my property, I feel at ease, knowing that I'm getting a thorough, and caring plumber. I am always confident that he will give his best effort and solve the problem. Because of Robert's solution-oriented mindset, excellent communication and leadership skills, and how he cares about the reputation of his company, I have asked Robert if he has any ownership interests in Guardian Plumbers. When he said he does not, I was thoroughly surprised. As a businessman myself, I've learned that the most valuable part of a company is the system of people within that company. It is clear to see that Robert is an excellent example of the high caliber people within your company. In conclusion, I am very grateful for Robert's high caliber service and the entire company supporting him at Guardian Plumbers. I am confident that there are many people behind the scenes supporting Robert that may not get recognized by the customer directly. So to those people behind the scenes, take this review as my direct thanks and evidence that Robert is representing you well. read more

Jacob came out and fixed my problem hes a wonderful man And very competent The very good business deal.

We are long term customers of Guardian Plumbing. They have ALWAYS provided us with first class service. Most recently, we have been dealing with septic pump problems. Once again, they have provided us with clear options and explanations for going forward with "no upsale" pressure. Thanks so much! read more

We had a leaking, and also otherwise dead water heater. Called another co who wanted $2300 to 'replace the switch', which they couldn't get for 2 weeks. They didn't identify the moisture under the unit either. Guardian sent their tech George, who showed up on time immediately identified the issues and was back, as promised at 8 am the next day to replace the beast! With a pan! *Homebuilders get it together* Nonetheless, George, his associate, and the office crew are the best and we are very grateful for their time + efforts. Oh! They also very kindly helped us take apart some items that were in their way... kindly, not annoyed. Highly recommend their services. read more

We hired Guardian Plumbers to do some routine maintenance on our house. Unlike all the other guys we called who gave us a sight unseen quote, Melissa offered a team to come in with their camera first and see what we needed before telling us how much it was going to cost us. After all, they explained, why should you pay for services you don't need? They did the inspection, allowing me to stand by their side and watch the video screen as the camera went down various pipes. It was only then that day gave me a quote based on what we had both seen, which by the way, was lower than the other guys. They even had time that day for John and JC to come in and execute the job. The fact that they were honest, fair, and MOST of all, human made all the difference in our decision to hire Guardian Plumbing. read more

i had small gas leak coming from the control thermostat connection to the pilot light on my gas water heater. I had Socalgas come out and they identified the location of the leak with their sniffer. My water heater is 9 years old but is still under the 12 year parts warranty from rheem. After talking to Rheem they decided to send me a replacement control thermostat. They said i could install it myself or hire a plumber to do it. I wanted a quote to see how much a pro would charge to replace the thermostat. If the quote was reasonable I would just have them do it. Since i had the part the cost would be just labor. I was thinking 100-200 max since a thermostat replacment with parts and labor is usually about 200-350 according to online estimates. I was floored when the service tech quoted 600 dollars. A 600/hr labor rate! I understand people need to be paid fairly for their time and skill but that seems excessive for what i was asking. After watching a 2 min youtube video, i gave the connection point from the pilot supply line to the control thermostat (orginal one currently on the water heater) an additional 1/2 rotation clockwise turn (i was suprised it had play!), then I sprayed it with soapy water..no more gas leak. Everything works fine now. Saved myself 600 dollars, and the gratification of not having to feel like i was dragged over the coals. I just wanted to say though that the service guy was totally professional and friendly, he just told me this what the company sets the rates at and he could only offer so much. read more

we had a big project. they had to jackhammer up 25 feet of the inside of my home. All the guys were so professional, it's was a huge mess but they made it bearable. Always on time and happy to be here. They replaced my sewer line good as new. Thank you Guardian Sue DePriest read more

The lady on the phone was great, but their tech showed up initially charging us $740-$1000 to replace a garbage disposal and a running toilet. He then dropped the price to $550 for just the garbage disposal repair - we looked up the unit it was $100 at lowes - We decided to go elsewhere and found several bids for around $285 for the same job. We decided to upgrade to a more powerful disposal and paid $330 - They just left did a great job. I would steer clear of these folks - they even charged us $60 for the estimate/diagnosis when other plumbers offer free estimates. read more

He assessed my issue gave me a very fair estimate He did the work then cleaned up. We talked more baseball. I thanked him then he was off to the next job. Definitely will call again when I need a plumber. read more

I rarely give a 5-star review, but I have used Guardian on three separate occasions at two different homes, and each occasion was met with professionalism, accountability, and honesty. These guys are truly the gold standard for plumbing, and I would reccomend them to anyone. John "JD" Wallace, our service technician, is excellent at what he does. Thank you, JD, and thank you, Guardian. read more

These guys are way more expensive than everyone else we quoted with and insisted we needed more work done than anyone else said. Nice people, but make sure you get another quote if you quote with them. read more

This was the 3rd time we've utilized Guardian Plumbers...hoping the tech would be like the previous....aaaand- YES, Chris & Antonio provided the same professional, friendly, respectful, straight-forward, quality customer service as the last 2 techs. We moved into a new home last November and there was a leak in the laundry room the previous owners didn't address when they moved. Also had very high pressure in the water to the house which probably would have caused a major slab leak eventually. We called Guardian plumbers- Jose came immediately and fixed everything the same day! He had to go through the laundry room drywall and did an amazing job, even cleaned up! So we have noticed that our washer only had hot water and no cold. We called Jose- he came out the next day and checked the cold water hose which was fine- we hadn't hooked it up correctly and he was so helpful! Thank you Jose and Guardian Plumbing!! read more

These people just tried to charge me 1,250 to repair a pipe 1 inch from the surface of a open field. I was like are you crazy? He said they charge $550.00 per hour. Which means he was going to spend $750 on the piping which is under $50.00. So the "quality control guy contacted me"! He stated that this estimate was wrong! He stated how can we make it better? I told him his place was unethical and that I would be reporting them to the better business bureau! His response, you could have gotten more estimates! Okay so so sorry we are trying to price gouge and rip people off this time we got caught! I guess his response is we are going to continue to do this but if people are smart enough they will get a second estimate! Awesome business practices quality jerk guy! read more

Ethan came out to my rental on a Saturday, showed up at a decent time and gave us pricing and answered all of our questions! He went out of his way to put booties on to not mess up my floors, and poor guy had to carry a very heavy machine up a flight of stairs! He was great and fixed the problem and even educated me! I will use them again in the future! My landlords will use them again as well! Thank you Ethan! read more

I have used Guardian a few times throughout the years. They are always professional, on time and are respectful of the homeowner's pocket. Anthony has been my plumber a few times, and he is thorough, patient and knowledgeable. I really appreciated how he gave me options to best help with my home's very old plumbing and remain in budget. I am happy with the work done and know my updated plumbing will last me for years to come. Thank you Anthony and Guardian plumbers!! read more

This one took me a while to decide how I feel and honestly I just feel like I avoided being taken advantage of by this company. We had a gas leak while my wife was in the ER with pregnancy complications, so the last thing I needed on my plate was dealing with this while I was balancing caring for our 2 year old and working a new job I had just started. I google searched local plumbers and this one had great reviews, so I called and they came right out. That was cool of them and I appreciated the fast response, but what I didn't appreciate was them quoting something around $700 to literally replace a single shut off valve. I was shocked by the pricing and asked the plumber to explain the cost, he said the labor was something like $200 an hour, that it would take 3 hours to do and the materials were about $100. I decided to decline the service and get a second opinion and thank god I did. I have a now retired plumbing contact from a previous job I worked at who I called up and explained everything and he told me straight up that I was being ripped off. He walked me through how to do the job myself over the phone, I bought a $10 valve at Home Depot and had to entire job done in less than an hour. I'm really disappointed in how the tech saw an opportunity to take advantage, which sadly means I could never recommend this company. read more

Made an appointment one week in advance, they texted me and reconfirmed the day before. Then the appointment day came and they canceled 10 mins after our scheduled appointment. The Company was great! Jose responded the same day I called for HELP! He submitted a bid almost immediately and in a professional manner. He provided service beyond the 3 other plumbing companies by far. The crew arrived as planned and worked diligently all day, and it was a big job. They asked appropriate questions and answered stupid owner questions with care. Good job and the mudders were beyond excellent and diligent. They cared for the rest of my home and kept it as clean as possible while doing a dirty job, read more

Very responsive. Miguel was very knowledgeable, explained in detail our options. Their followup is something to write home about. :-)

Not true. I sent pictures of exactly what I wanted, the exact system placed exactly in the spot that it was made for the new house. Unless this is the first time your organization has ever installed a water softener you would think based off the detailed pictures I sent you could have just given me quote rather than waste everyone's time which I said during the initial request. Your guy came out and tried to sell the $6000 halo system which all plumbing businesses are trying to push. Like I said do your research and shop around. I got someone to install it the way I wanted for a fraction of what you charged. Be a normal business and rip me off for hundreds of dollars stop being greedy trying to get thousands. read more

Should've done this sooner but, received an alert back in December from the water company that they were noticing a high amount of water being used at our property. Couldn't understand why until a few neighbors informed us that they had notice water coming out of the ground on our property side of the sidewalk. Went out there to check and sure enough water was seeping out of the grass. Began to dig and found a small crack on the elbow of a pvc pipe where water was leaking from. Called several plumbers out and Guardian Plumbers were the first to come out. The plumber who arrived, can't remember his name, saw the problem and immediately said two things could be done. First he could repair the elbow but the job could not be warrantied or recommended for about $1,500. He then said the right and proper thing to do was to replace all my piping from the city connection all the way into my house. That would include digging under my lawn, drilling through my garage wall and then tying into the water main inside the garage. He went on to say that when pipes come to being 30 years old they tend to crack and break. Only problem is that my house is about 9-10 years old. When I mentioned this to him he said, well they can also crack and break at those years also. For this job he wanted about $7,500. I said thanks but no thanks. Called out another company, they saw the issue and said, yeah we can replace that elbow for you. Work will be guaranteed and warrantied. Heck we'll even replace the piping from the city connection to under your concrete slab so you don't have to worry about this area being a problem. Sure how much? $750. Seriously you wanted to charge me double for a job that wasn't going to guaranteed or warrantied but instead your company wanted me to do "the job right" by charging me $7,500? Not sure where all your good reviews come from but now I know Guardian Plumbers are a bunch of con-artist. read more
