Nice staff, lots of merchandise for the whole family. It's like a mini mall, great because next to my doctors office.

I don't go to this branch of Lawtons as often as I used to, since I moved to the Lawtons off…read morePeakview..but on a recent visit nothing appears unchanged. The main reason I stopped coming here is because I have to drive all the way down Hammonds Plains Road or Bedford Highway (your only two options for getting there), and both these roads are a nightmare for traffic. Otherwise the store is conveniently located near a number of doctors offices upstairs, and inexplicably a Shoppers Drug Mart across the street (does this area REALLY need both?). The store itself is heavily geared towards selling gifts and various Hallmark-esque items. Wouldn't blame anyone for thinking they were walking into a large hospital gift shop at first. As an aside, I was surprised that they don't sell bathroom scales. If they can devote the majority of an aisle just to weight management products, then wouldn't it make sense to sell the item a person would need to weigh themselves?

To be honest, I would have preferred to pick up a higher brand, something from lines Lawton's wouldn't carry, but I went here in the name of economizing. I picked up my top coat and then got a base coat as well. They were both half off, so that was a nice deal. The biggest problem I had is that all their make-up is sorted by brand, which means the nail polish is scattered all over the store, like an easter egg hunt. It made comparing and choosing colours difficult, so I eventually headed to the sale section and picked up a sampler pack for half price. The deals were great, but I wish the polish was grouped more closely together.

I have simply reached my limit with Lawton's on peakview. 1…read more there's always a problem. always a mixup. always a miscommunication. 2. you are ALWAYS made to feel like you're putting them out. that you're a huge inconvenience. 3. there is a pharmacy tech/assist there who wears a lab coat and works in the counter behind the cash in the pharmacy. I believe they have very long dark wavy hair. she has to be the most rude and unpleasant young lady ive encountered in this kind of setting. her nonverbal aggression with the eye rolling, the sighs, the long stares. it is so aggravating that I HATE to go in person to pick up prescriptions once a month. 4. ppl on mental health meds or weight loss meds are not for the staff to judge and make fun of. im sitting waiting for a prescription that was supposed to be ready the day before and this young lady answers the phone. she hangs up, and in front of customers, she starts making fun of the man's accent, the fact that he needed a weight loss meds renewed. it is truly unacceptable!!! I will be done with this pharmacy as of today. I've reached my limit

I recently had all my prescriptions transferred to this location, mostly because the pharmacists are much more on the ball here. Note I said pharmacists... the same cannot necessarily be said about their support staff. Other nice things about this location: loads of parking, near the gym, near many other convenient shopping locations, central location between Halifax and the 'burbs like Bedford and Hammond's Plains, it's a new location so its often quieter than other Lawtons locations and high quality pharmacists who seem to know what they are doing.

Knowing I needed munchies for the evening, I decided to head in. Pharmasave are a different calibre. They are all independently owned. This one, is very nice. Same pricing as the bigger Pharmacies and great staff!…read more This store is really good. I walked in expecting to pay a few dollars more than the more popular pharmacies, Shoppers and Lawtons. But I was proven yet again that assumptions are always wrong. Their pricing is just as good and they also take Air Miles. The staff are friendly and helpful but most of the time you have to ask them for help before they will offer it. That's alright though, since when they do start to help I never feel like I am putting them out of their way. They are happy to give me a hand. They have a good enough selection of products to choose from but I wish they had more of a healthy food section. They basically don't have one but do have a few products kicking around. And with so much space, I think they could afford to implement a food section. But at the end of the day, most things I want to get at a pharmacy are here. And given the fact that this Pharmacy is closer to me than the other ones, I'll be stopping by here before I go into the mega Pharmacies.

First she showed me but she was doing her work she came to me when done with her work. Pharmacist asked me did you check for covid? i said no its not covid because this is pretty much with me whenever weather changes but this time its much. she asked me thre times can you take advii? wel i dont know why i cant take , i said i am hearign this first time i dont know why are you asking me this question . then she clarified and suggested me advil if do not have any allergy and went ahead to take phone rang at that moment and i went to aisle to look for that medicine but there were so many different medicine which says use in " fever, head ache, sore throat, runny nose etc" . i went with two medicine not advil different brand but i thought its suits my problem more. I went to her for checking she kept me waiting . for that i understand she was on phone. but her colleague asked her and she said "that why i said to take advil ". I was very much confused because every drug has pretty much same line in use for "--". i appreciate her for assisting some one over phone for half and hour but in my case i believe she only thought i had covid and i am behaving irresponsible and spreading it. Please think and look beyond covid.

The WalMart Pharmacy has something you wouldn't expect in a big box store: heart, and caring, and…read morecompassion. This is due entirely to the staff employed there (and not necessarily with corporate policies). Chris, Angela, Novalea, Nadine and the rest of the crew work together to efficiently fill prescriptions and counsel clients on new drugs and possible side-effects. They'll evaluate your current medications to see if there might be any possible interactions and they'll place notes on your file if you've had bad results in the past, to ensure that you'll never go home with that medication again (even if your doctor forgets!). Getting your prescriptions filled at WalMart might seem as though you're subsidizing the evil empire. However, for many of us, it all comes down to dollars and cents and for the money, WalMart is the least expensive game in town. I routinely save $25 and up per month by getting my prescriptions filled here. It's easy to move your prescriptions from your current pharmacy - go in and speak with Nadine about what's involved in the process. The staff are easy to work with and have often worked with me to fill or refill prescriptions that are outside the norm. I know that for a certain generic drug, I need to obtain it from one specific manufacturer to avoid nasty side effects. They have never once forgotten to special order it for me, which is pretty amazing. But that's just all in a day's work for the WalMart pharmacy staff. You won't be sorry you started using their service.
