My family and I highly recommend Around The Clock Home Care. So far, two of my family members have…read moreused Around The Clock services a total of five times. We initially found out about them from Encompass rehabilitation hospital (formerly Health South), and have specifically requested them ever since. My mother and brother are fairly fragile health-wise, and after injuries and surgeries (and hospital stays) they have had nurse visits, physical therapy (PT) visits, and occupational therapy (OT) visits. Only one staff member (a PT several years ago) was less than stellar. Otherwise, the nurses, supervisors, PT's and OT's have been wonderful. I wanted to highlight two of our favorites. Tilly is an OT that worked with my brother recently. Her attitude and personality "sparkles" as my mom says. She makes the work fun for the patient because of her warm and caring personality. And she really works with the patient rather than just giving advice and directions. She is conscientious and her work with my brother has made all the difference in getting him back to being mobile and to the point where he can do his self-care independently. My mom says that any positive adjective can be used to describe her. Fernando is a PT that has worked with both my mom and brother most of the times that we used Around The Clock. Fernando, like Tilly, is conscientious, well-skilled, great to work with, very helpful and reasonable in his therapy plans. It has always been a real treat and benefit to be able to get Fernando assigned to my family members. Our interaction with the office staff has always been positive. I can say with total confidence that my mother's and brother's recovery once released from the hospital or from Encompass were all much better and quicker due to the wonderful care of Tilly, Fernando, and the nurses and supervisors at Around The Clock Home Care. If I ever need such care, I will make sure that I am cared for by Around the Clock!

Interim Healthcare literally saved my aunt's life. Their inhome care staff was able to work with…read moreour family to evaluate her and get her out of her home situation to the hospital and on to rehab help. She was able to regain her health and is now living with family. She still has an Interim employee help her with bathing, etc. With another senior, we were able to get a "sitter" from Interim to go to the hospital on very short notice and provide an interface between a belligerent patient and hospital staff. Hospital staff just could not handle keeping him safely in bed in his condition. Fortunately, the patient presumed this was his personal assistant in the hospital and accepted her assistance/instructions far more readily than he would have listened to family. The sitters provided over a few days from Interim were very professional and honestly knew just what to do, fitting in seamlessly with the hospital staff. There help was truly a godsend. You can even do all the paperwork with Interim in advance of a specific need, then call them for help as it is needed. What a load off your mind when dealing with a failing loved one! I can't recommend Interim Healthcare highly enough, so five stars will have to do.
