Heck no. So unprofessional. Asked for structure and got small plants in the back with large plants on top. But that was nothing to installation. Came home and it was nothing like we had asked. Called sales person. She did another plan on phone. I had to pay $2000 more. Next day a couple beds that was in the plan didn't have anything. Installer said he had extra plants and would I want him to install in empty beds. New to this region I don't know names of plants. I agreed thinking they were missing plants from plan. Oh I missed that I asked sales person or owner to come out on day of installation to inspect and they said too busy. Anyhow they sent me an invoice for $2000 more! We sent a letter refusing to pay and they won't honor they guarantee to replace dead plants. So unprofessional. Don't trust the name. read more

I've used Guaranteed Excellence four times over the past several years. All with wonderful results and I recommended them to many neighbors. But, they now have a new owner and the project they did last summer was unacceptable. I paid $2k for 10 shrubs to be planted. 4 of them completely died in a few months. The new owner came out and looked at them, tried to blame me for their deaths although there was no pattern to those that died and those that were healthy so it could not be a watering issue. He said he'd call the following week. 6 months later and he has never gotten in touch with me and will not return any calls. So disappointing and upsetting that they will not make any attempt to right their wrong. read more

Always blown away by the wide range of reviews you find on Yelp. I was taken back to see only 2 reviews and both negative as not only was our experience fantastic but they are literally beloved in our Centennial neighborhood. They were referred by multiple people on our neighborhood page as the absolute best in our area. Richard came on time to do a walk through for the project and had several really great insights and ideas for the project. There was no hard sell and their pricing was honestly very fair, we had much higher bids from companies that gave me far less confidence. End pricing was exactly the estimate and they even moved my sprinkler box for 1/2 what the 3 other sprinkler companies had quoted me. As for the work they started on time, busted their asses non-stop and finished the job even a 1/2 day early. I work from home and look out into the yard and never saw the crew chatting on phones or yapping, these dudes worked! We also had a wood delivery for another indoor project and the crew ran over and helped unload the wood as well. The project ended up better than we could have imagined and could not be happier with every bit of the experience. I'd recommend them 100% and will use them for the back yard project next year. Amazing company, efficient and reasonably priced. Made our awful landscape look incredible!

We recently used Guaranteed Excellence for a multiple day landscaping design and maintenance job. Richard walked us through his detailed quote. He came back a second time to answer a few questions and add some new items. The first day of the project Richard and his crew arrived on time as scheduled. Over the course of the next few days Richard continued to stop by for quality control. Marco and his crew were great and went above and beyond. Just one example, after pruning a large tree one of his team repositioned a bird house that had been on a branch that had been removed. Not a big deal just really thoughtful. After they finished Richard came back for a final walk through. We had a couple of small items which Richard corrected on the spot. He was budget conscious and patient throughout the process. We are planning on working with them again on another project in the spring. read more

I used to Guaranteed Excellence for a couple of significant jobs last year and was so very pleased. They were great at designing and implementing their designs according to my needs and budget, which meant they had to be pretty creative. I love working with them. I'm writing this now to caution: buyer beware! Things seem to have changed. I was scheduled to have work done this week, which was coordinated between two contractors, both providing me early spring discounts. Less than a week before they were to start this Monday, they came back and tripled their quote. For two days I was under the belief that they were going to come back with something more reasonable given the very late change to our agreement, but in the end, they didn't budge, simply saying they were raising their rates. I was left with a nasty last minute situation which has been terrible both on stress and cost of the job. Proceed with caution. read more

Guaranteed Disappointment might be a better name - my neighbor used their services so when we needed someone he gave us the direct number of the person he worked with. We left multiple messages but got no response so I called the main number. I left two messages (the phone rings through to voicemail no matter what time of day apparently) and when I tried to call a third time the voice mailbox is full. So I can't really rate their work but their customer service is non-existent. I'm only giving them one star because zero stars isn't an option! read more

Great experience from beginning to end and with follow up. We used Guaranteed Excellence for a pretty extensive job - three days on site. The job consisted of tearing out old landscaping, removing two stumps, removing a sizeable brush pile, installation of fencing, installation of three large trees along with smaller landscaping and repairing our irrigation system. The owner and crew supervisor showed up on time, were responsive and followed up during each phase. Pricing was competitive and we are extremely pleased with our new landscaping. We will be using them again in the Spring of 2019 for additional work. read more
